What is NomCom? A committee of initiated women who present a slate of
members for election.
Based on the suggestions and nominations, they present what they feel is the best combination of women for leading the chapter through the next year.
Consists of 2 initiated members from each academic class
What does NomCom do? Create officer interest and nomination forms
Using the suggestions and nominations from the chapter, they create a slate of officers and Honor Council Members to present to the chapter on election night
The slate will then be voted on by the chapter. The slate is not an automatic election chosen by the NomCom.

Members Not in Good Standing
Current officers
Anyone who interested in an office (Executive or Honor Council)
Who would be a good NomCom Member? Women who know the women of their class, and the
chapter, well.
Someone not susceptible to peer pressure.
All work of the NomCom is strictly confidential. Failure to comply will result in an IRF.
Women who understand and live Tri Sigma’s values.
Other Criteria NomCom must be organized, responsive, and
responsible over the next few weeks.
They must be able to devote a significant amount of time to this process.
But it’s all over in a few weeks!
Be prepared for some of your sisters to have their feelings hurt based on your decisions.
Who votes for NomCom? Sophomores vote for sophomore representative
Juniors vote for junior representative
Seniors vote for senior representative
All members, even if they are not in good standing
Let’s get started! Sophomores pick first! - Everyone else leave the room.
