Did any of you ever start for a southern district affair without hoping you’d see Jean Nuttall? She and her infectuous spirit are headed this way with Mrs. Jack Findley, Mrs. George Reed, and Mrs. Givens, all of Dragoon, and Mrs. Grant and Mrs. George Freeman of Wilcox. Mrs. A. G. Smith of Benson staged a sort of preview, by spending the major part of the week here, de- parting yesterday, and planning on returning today. Ours may be the baby county in size, but that’s all; Mrs. Leland Wilson and nine other Patagonia ladies, as well as visitors from the Elgin Club will be particularly wel- comed at this convention. Fellenbaum of the Army Air Forces and bride (Ilse Paula Larsen) are shown above cutting their wedding cake at a reception in the Montezuma Ballroom Friday shortly after they were married in St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church at 4 o’clock that afternoon. The reception was attended by about 50 persons and the wedding cake served as a centerpiece for a long buffet table, flanked on each side by fall flowers. At the wedding, at which Rev. John Atkinson officiated, the bride wore a two-piece gray wool dressmaker suit and small matching gray hat and black accessories. She carried a silver fox muff to which was attached a spray of white orchids surrounded by bouvardia. She was given in marriage by Charles A. Bauer in the absence of her father who was unable to be present. Her only attendant was the groom’s sister, Mrs. Grace Madru of Hermosillo, Sonora, and Alameda, Calif. Best man was Lt. Neil Ferry- man of San Bernardino. The couple will stay for a month in Tucson where Major Fellen- baum is stationed and from there will probably go to Florida. Mrs. Fellenbaum is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Weiss of New York City and her husband a son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Fellen- baum of San Bernardino. Shetter from the Smelter City are arriving this morning. Mary Evans is bringing Mrs. Lam- bert with her from Winslow, which makes us happy. Frieda Blakely reports that there will be eight juniors from Casa Grande—which reminds us of the time the Juniors named a visiting movie star as pin-up boy at the state convention held here a few years ago. It is fitting that a sizeable dele- gation will be here from Bisbee, with Ariadna Hess slated for the presi- dency. Bisbee president, Mrs. J. D. Ralph, Mrs. James Lynn, Mrs. S. A. Andreas, Mrs. W.
