Preparation:Base all the wood – Blue Harbor; sand and base again. Apply main pattern lines. Shade on background around pat-tern – Payne’s Grey. Stencil the snowfl akes on background (don’t forget behind the “Noel”)using Spa Blue. Use very little paint and pounce color on. I used all different snowfl akes. Wash thin Warm White over snow areas.1

Painting Instructions:Santa Snow:Head & body – slip slap Warm White, dry and give a second coat.Shade – very thin Paynes Grey Highlight – dry brush Titanium/Snow White in face and center body.Coat & Hat – Tomato Red, Shade – Deep Burgundy Highlight – 1 Antique Rose 2 Spice PinkButtons – ButterscotchAdd Warm White where Arms come out of coat.Fur – Pebble Shade – Espresso Highlight – 1 Warm White 2 WhiteArms – Espresso, wait to put them in after packages and tree.

Penwork: Add double wiggly lines on star, fur trim, and lines on Buttons. Hangers for Christmas Balls

Snowfl akes: add more – Warm White liner. Dots at end of each line. Splatter Warm White. I covered the Black rails and Snow Santa with paper towel as I splatter. Add a tad of splatter to Snow Santa.

Finishing: Paint the edges of the wood with Dazzling Metallics Champagne Gold.Spray lightly with several coats of DecoArt Acrylic Sealer/Finisher - Matte.
