Whereas it appears to tpe Government of' Goa (hereinafter r~erred to as "the Government") ti).fLt the land specified in the scl:!.edule. hereto (liereinafterreferred to as. the "said land") is likely to be needed f()r .. , p1.1i:llic purpose viz. L. A. for cpnstruction of ne~<Ek G.)ine iIlA:ro~siin .. villag~, of Mopn-Ug,ao Taluka in Margao.and Zuari section,.

And whereas in the opinion of. the Government the prorvision of sub-section (1) of section 11' of the Land Acquisition Act 1894 (Central Act 1 of 1894) (hereinafter referred to as "the

. said Act"), are applicable.

Now, therefore, the Government hereby notifies under sub-section (1) of· Section 4. of the said Act that the said land is likely to be needed for the purpose specified above.

The Government further directs under sub-section (4) of Section 17 of the said Act that the proviSions of section 5A of the said Act shall. not. apply in respect. of the said land.

2. All persons interested. in the said land are hereby warned not to obstruct or interfere with any surveyor or other persons employed upon the said land for the purpose of the land acquisition. Any contract for the disposal. of the said land by sale, lease, mortgage; assignment, exchange or otherwise, or' any outlay commenced or .improvements made thereon without the sanction of the Collector, appointed under para­graph 4·. below, after the' date of the publication of the notification, will, under clause (seventh) of section 24 of the said Act, be disregarded,byhim while assessing, compensation for such parts of the said land as maybe finally acquired.

3. If the Government is satisfied thaJ the said land is needed' for the aforesaid, purpose, a declaration' to that effect under section 6 of the said Act will be published in the Official Gazette and. in two daily newspapers and public notice thereof shall be given in due course: If. the acquisition is· abandoned wholly Or in part,· the:, fact will' also be notified: in the same manner.

4, The Government further appoints, under clause (c) of section 3 of the said Act, Special Land AcquiSition Officer, (Konkan Railway Lihe), South Goa, Margao to perform the functions of a Collector under the said Act in respect. of the said land.

S. The Government· also authorise,. under sub~sectibn (2:) of Section 4 of the said Act, the' follqwing officers .to do, the .acts; specified in respect. of'the said land. . .

Whereas it appears to the Government of Goa (hereinafter referred to' aEl "the Government") ,that the land specifiedfu tlie schedule hereto (hereinafter referred to as the "said land") is likely to be needed' for public purpose viz. i..' And whereas in the opinion of the Government the prOvision 'of SUb-section (1) of section 17 of tJ:i.e Land AcqUisition Act, 1894 (Central Act 1 of 1894) (hereiD.after referred to' as "the said Act"). are applicable.

NO'w, therefore,. the Government hereby nO'tifies under sub-sectiO'n (1) of Section 4 of the said Act that the said land is likely to be needed for the p:tJ,rpose specifiea .apove.

The Government further directs under Sub-section (4) of section 17 of the said Act that the provisions of section 5A of the .said Act shall not apply in respect of the said land.

. 2. All persons interested in the said land are hereby warned not to obstruct O'r interfere witb any surveyOr or other persons employed upon the said land for the purpose of the land acqUisition. Any contract for the disposal of the said land by sale, lease, mortgage, assignment, exchange or otherwise, or any outlay. commenced or improvements made thereon without the sanction of the Collector, appointed under para­graph 4 below, after the' date of the publication ,of the notification, will, under clause (seventh) ,of section 24 of the said Act, be disregarded by him whileasseS$ing compensation for such parts of the said land as may be finally acqUired.

3. If the Government is satisfied that the said land is needed for the aforesaid purpose, a de.claration to that effect under section 6 of the sfj,id Act 'Will 15e published in the Official Gazette and in two daily newspapers and public notice thereof sliallbe given in due course: If the acquisition is abandoned wholly or in part, the fact will also be notified in the same manner .

4. The GovermnEffit further appoints, under clause (c) ·of section 3 of the said Act, SpeCial Land Acquisition Officer, (Konkan Railway Line), South Goa, Margao to perfonn the functions of a Collector under the said Act in respect of the said land.

5. The GO'vernment also authorise, ,.under sub-sectiO'n (2) of section 4 of the said Act, the following officers to do the acts, specified in respect of the said land:

1; The Collector,' South Goa Dist., Margao.

2. Special L.and Acquisition Officer, Sou.th Goa, Konkan. Railway Corporation Limited, Arney Guest RO'use Davorlim, Navelim, Goa.

3. The Executive Engineer (Construction), Konkan Railway Corporation, Panaji.

4. The Director 'of Land Survey, Panaji.

6. A rough plan of the said land is' available for inSpection in the office of the Special Land Acquisition Officer (K6:hkan Railway Line), South Goa, Margao, for a period of .3Q days from. the date of publicatioh of this Notification in Official Gazette.

Whereas it appears to the Government of Goa (hereinafter' referred to as "the Government") that the land specified in .. the Schedule hereto (hereinafter referred to as the "said .. land"), is likely to be needed for public purpose viz. construc­tionof B/1 and B/2 Distributory (Combined) from Ch. 0.00'" to 360M of Right· Bank Main Canal of Tillari Irrigation Project at Alorna Village in Pernem Taluka.

And whereas in the opinion of the Government the· provisions of sub-section (1) of section 17 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (Cer.tral Act 1 of 1894) (hereinafter referred to as "the sard Act") are applicable.

Now, therefore, the Government hereby notifies under" SUb-section (I) of section 4 of the said Act that the said land is likely to be needed for the purpose specified above.

The Government further directs under sub-section (4) of" section 17 of the said Act that the provisions of section 5A of the said Act shall not apply in respect of the said lalld.

2. All persons interested in the said land are hereby' warned not to obstruct or' interfere with any surveyor or othcr persons employed upon the said land for the purpose of the said acquisition., AllY contract for the disposal of. the said land by sale, lease, mortgage, assignment, exchange~' or otherwise, or' any outlay commenced or improvements made thereon without the sanction of the Collector appointed under paragraph 4 below, after the date of the publication_. of this Notification; will, under clause (seventh) of section 24 of the .said Act, be disregarded by.him while assessing com- , pensatlon for such parts of the said land as may be finally acquired.

3. If the Government is satisfied that the said land i~ , neMed for the aforesaid purpose, a declaration to that effect under section 6 of the said Act will be published in ... the. Official Gazette and in two daily newspapers and public notIce thereof shalr'be given in due course. If the acquisition ... Is abandoned wholly or in part, the fact will also be notified·; in the same manner.

. 4. The Government further appoints, under clause (c) at' section 3 of the .said Act. the Special Land Acquisition Officer (North), Mapusa ~Goa to perform the functions of a (]()l1ector North goa District, Panaji/South Goa District..: Margao under the said Act in respect of the said land.
