GA - 24For Mild Steel and Medium Tensile Steel
Description
GA-24 is an iron powder titanium
type electrode designed for highspeed and high efficiency weldingin flat and horizontal fillet positions. It has excellent weld ability, easyslag removal and producesbeautiful bead appearance. The metal recovery with respect to core wire is 180%.
Applications
For flat and horizontal fillet weldingof ship building, storage tanks, building construction. Finish welding of multi layer welding.
Instructions for Welding
1. If the electrodes become damp, dry the electrodes at 80ºC ~ 120ºC for 30 ~ 60 minutes before use.2. For horizontal fillet position, use contact welding method.

HV - 950For Heavy Soil Abrasion
Description
HV-950 is a complex carbide electrode. The weld metal deposit gives extremely high hardness oftypically HRC 60. It is excellent in wear application at elevated temperatures and its suitable for protecting all iron based parts subject to severe fine particle abrasion.
Applications
For surfacing of sand pump casing, pump impeller, worn parts on farm equipment, forestry tools, conveyorscrew, mixer blades, scraper bars, blast furnaces, cement furnacesand buckets teeth.
Instructions for Welding
1. Dry the electrodes at 150º~200ºC for 30~60 minutes before use.2. Choose the welding current within the suitable welding current range.3. Preheat at 300ºC is required and post heating after welding is desirable at about 600ºC4. Build-up in lattice shape or string in general.
