Your church Staff and Church Officers have been prayer-fully considering the best and safest approach to bring our faith community back together as restrictions are being lift-ed. We have met in virtual meetings for over two and a half hours discussing, considering, and planning for what our “Coming Home to New Hope” experience might look like. We felt it was time to give some definitive dates and proce-dures that will be put in place to safeguard our congregation while enabling us to join in worship and praise of our Lord and Savior. So we invite you to take some time and look at “the Plan” so that everyone will be fully informed and aware of what we are going to do at New Hope.

Our target date to r eturn to worship has been set for JUNE 21st. While we are aware that other con-gregational entities are opening their worship ser-vice up in the near future, your Officers and Staff felt very strongly that we should take a more cau-tious approach and not be too aggressive in our re-turn. Our rationale is based on the overall age of our congregation and the reality that many of our mem-bers do have certain health conditions that would put them at higher risk than the general population. We are and will be monitoring the current situation with community health advisories to watch for changes that might impact this date.
