DIRECTOR ’S NOTES

It is always a delight to help John shape his wonderful work. A Midsummer Night Mc-Givern was a journey through the summer months and John’s coming of age. Winter Tales was a journey through the winter months and a reflection on John’s family at home. Now Home for the Holidays takes us out and about the streets, at church, at school, and all up and down the block. And once again, John’s childhood springs to life with a batch of stories that are fresh, familiar and hilarious. The mundane be-comes magical, the everyday is a fountain of amusement, and John conjures it all with a big playful heart. What could be better for an evening of holiday cheer?
