    chocolate. And also for the

children of every age we had

The chocolate hour on 6th of

    February was a great suc-

cess. It was hosted in cultural

    house Mj and there was

    chocolate from 19 countries

to taste and also two boxes

    of chocolates that turned out

    internaonal. There were

    also to chocolate cakes pre-

pared from th e Hodina H

    team.

The SMOK intercultural evenings gave an opportuni-

ty for our volunteers to show us what is unique for

them about their countries and for the people from

Pelhrimov to nd out more about the world.

12th of February: This was the rst of the evenings

with UK, France and Spain presenng their countries.

They are big and well known but that was the point.

They are very dierent in the parts that are far from

each other so we found out more about what applies

to most of the country and was is just popular just in

one region not the whole of the country.

18th of February: Georgia and Moldova. We found

out more about the former Soviet Union republics

music, food, dances, places to visit and enjoy.

19th of February: Armenia and Belarus. Last but not

least again we gained more knowledge about the notso well known countries and had the opportunity to

taste a bit of their culture in the last of the SMOK

    evenings for this month.

For the past one month here in Ho14 more people, or rather I should

ing personalities. Time went reallare now leaving but the memories

did a great job preparing the ok

na and did amazing workshops inprimary schools and also in Hodin

We learned from them and I hope

something from us but it was a grfor both sides.

We wish them all the best and we

    In the paradox

    ofAchillesand theTortoise,

Achilles is in a footrace with

    the tortoise. Achilles allows

    the tortoise ahead startof

    100 meters, for example. If

    we suppose that each racer

    starts running at some con-

    stant speed (one very fast

    and one very slow), then

    aer some niteme, Achil-

les will have run 100 meters,

    bringing him to the tor-

    toise's starng point. During

    this me, the tortoise has

    run a much shorter distance,

say, 10 meters. It will then

    take Achilles some further

me to run that distance, by

    which me the tortoise will

    have advanced farther; and

then more me sll to reach

    this third point, while the

    tortoise moves ahead. Thus,

    whenever Achilles reaches

    somewhere the tortoise has

been, he sll has farther to

    go.

    Therefore, because there

    are an innite number of

    points Achilles must reach

    where the tortoise has al-

    ready been, he can never

    overtake the tortoise
