The Greater Tehachapi Chamber of Commerce is offering an opportunity for our members to enjoy more recognition, visibility and opportunities through our Chairman’s Circle. The Chairman’s Circle offers a number of ways to market, advertise and promote your company on a regular, consistent basis.
The Chairman’s Circle offers four specifc packages ranging from $1,000 to $7,000. It is the Chamber’s goal to help you develop an annual package of benefits that will raise the visibility of your company in the community. By strategically planning your marketing and advertising activities in these areas, you can develop an individual campaign that will deliver bottom line benefits.
Chairman’s Circle members enjoy the convenience of a one-time all-inclusive transaction that insures representation at Chamber events, in its publications and on the Chamber’s website. This is a wonderful way to
plan your budget each year. The Chairman’s Circle will not only let you plan for your sponsorships of annual events, but will also avoid those many calls individuals receive to gather support for the Chamber’s many great events.
Feel free to contact me with any questions regarding the Chairman’s Circle. I invite you to arrange a visit to discuss the benefits and privileges of membership in this special group of members who have made an annual commitment to support the Greater Tehachapi Chamber of Commerce through sponsorships and marketing opportunities. I look forward to working with you on a program to enhance your company’s recognition and visibility in our community.

15th Annual Christmas Parade "Rockin Round the Christmas Tree"
The Holidays are a time for families and friends to gather. On Saturday, December 5th at 5:30 p.m. The Greater Tehachapi Chamber of Commerce is planning the 15th Annual Christmas Parade “Rockin Round the Christmas Tree”. The Parade route will be down “F” Street beginning at Mulberry Street.
This event is planned so the community can gather together for visiting old friends, making new friends, drinking hot chocolate, watching the parade, sharing a meal, enjoying the lights, singing carols, strolling from business to business doing your Christmas Shopping. This is to be an exciting holiday event filled with community spirit for all ages. Wouldn’t a few snowflakes complete the magic?
Last year's parade was such a success that you don't want to miss out on this year's event! Parade Applications are available at the Chamber Office, 209 E. Tehachapi Blvd. or by clicking here. Deadline for applications is Monday, November 23, 2015.
In order to make the parade successful, it takes volunteers. What better way to get into the Christmas spirit than to be a part of the parade committee. Contact the Chamber office at 661-822-4180 for more information. All volunteers are welcome.

B2C Content Marketing: Focus on Providing Value
SCORE.orgby Bridget Weston Pollack
B2C businesses, you’re on the top of your content marketing game. In our latest content marketing infographic, we’re looking at best practices for consumer-serving businesses.
While 86 percent of business-to-business marketers use content marketing, business-to-consumer firms come in at 77 percent for content marketing use. But B2C marketers take advantage of a wider range of content types, including e-newsletters, articles, illustrations and photos, videos, and even in-person events. Blogs, of course, rate high on the list -- 67 percent of B2C businesses maintain a blog.
Why is content marketing so important to build business? 70 percent of customers prefer to get information about a com-pany from content rather than through advertising. Businesses are responding: 48 percent of B2C firms publish content daily, or several times per week. Customers want a steady stream of unique information about a business’s offerings -- not just the same ad design over and over.
The ROI on content marketing is all about clicks. 65 percent of B2C content marketers want to convert visitors on their website, and clicks from shared content are five times more likely to result in a purchase.
One major aid in content marketing: using a tag management service to streamline the analytics, affiliate, conversion, and other tracking codes on pieces of content like blog posts or videos. A tag management service can provide more agile tracking for web content, and cut down the time you need to spend on your site performing tedious tasks. 47 percent of content marketers reported better campaign measurement and 33 percent reported better campaign ROI as the primary benefits of using a tag management service.
Check out the infographic on this page for more details.
