Week 3B Term 2
Website: www.coolah-c.schools.nsw.edu.au
Trade Training Centre The new Industrial Technology Facility was officially opened last Monday 7th May 2018. Our special guests included: The Honourable Minister Sarah Mitchell
Member for Barwon, The Honourable Kevin Humphries, Mr Mark Young, Director Educational Leadership, Mr Michael Honeywood, Director Educational Leadership, Mr Peter Shinton, Mayor Warrumbungle Shire Council I would like to acknowledge staff and students for their involvement in an impressive ceremony. Our special guests commented on how commendably Coolah Central School students presented themselves before, during after the official ceremony.
Entering School Grounds Visitors (including parents, carers and volunteers) are not to enter the school grounds without first signing in at the administration office. Visitors are required to sign out when leaving the school grounds. Visitors are not to enter the playground or go to the classrooms during class time, or at lunch or recess time. If they wish to bring their child’s recess or lunch to school, it must be left at the office and delivery will be arranged. Contact Details Again last week we experienced difficulty in contacting parents/carers via home phone and mobile phone numbers that we have on file. Several home phone and mobile numbers have been terminated. It is important that any changes to home phone, mobile phones, home address and emergency contacts are provided to the school as soon as possible.
Principal News with Mr Frangos
Welcome to Week 3B. It was great to see so many mothers, grandmothers and friends at our Mother’s Day Picnic on Friday. A special congratulations to those students in the vocal group who performed so well with such
enthusiasm. A thankyou also to Kath Rindfleish for the outstanding catering for the event and to Meg Dixon and the team of teachers who organised the day. I’d like to remind parents and caregivers that we will be adhering to deadlines for notes and payments for excursions and other activities. This allows for the timely organisation and administration of these events so they run efficiently. Students who do not meet deadlines will not be allowed to attend these
excursions or activities. As the weather gets cooler it’s important to ensure that all students have the correct uniform. Coolah Central School Jumpers are available from the front office. They are $40 each. Vocal group practice continues this week for all interested students on Monday and Thursday lunchtimes in the new music room. As we have just completed the Mother’s Day performance we will begin learning new songs and new members are welcome.. As always I can be contacted at the school should you have any concerns.
