Government is set to unveil an ambitious PAN activity monitoring and analysis software tool that will enable Income Tax department to check transactions history of a person country-wide and help sleuths in effective tracking of black money trail.
Infosys to roll out GST collection network for government in Rs 13,130 crore deal. Software major Infosys will soon implement the central government’s ambitious project to network the country for its Goods and Services Tax collection as the sole vendor for the five-year project.
State-owned Bank of Baroda will soon hire an external accounting agency to identify the loopholes that led to the Rs 6000-crore forex scam which was detected last week.

Anand Chandrasekaran
Chief Product Officer of Snapdeal
Anand Chandrasekaran is an Indian business executive who is currently the Chief Product Officer of Snapdeal, one of India's pre-eminent Internet companies. Previously, he was Chief Product Officer of Bharti Airtel, the third largest mobile operator in the world.
Early life
Chandrasekaran holds an undergraduate degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
Career
After graduating from Stanford University in 2001, he co-founded Aeroprise, one of the early innovators in personalized mobile applications software. Aeroprise had over 100 of the world's largest enterprises as customers including the Department of Homeland Security and Safeway. Aeroprise was acquired by BMC Software in 2011. In 2011, he joined Yahoo and was a well-regarded product leader working on Yahoo Mobile, Yahoo Answers, online mapping, Yahoo Travel and the Yahoo Search businesses including local during the time that Marissa Mayer was CEO. During his stint there, he worked on the partnership with Yelp and its integration into Yahoo Search, which led to bringing industry-leading reviews and ratings content into Yahoo. This partnership was similar to content deals announced by Apple and Microsoft. In 2010, Anand was named by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader. In 2014, he was lured by CEO Gopal Vittal to join Bharti Airtel in the newly created position of Chief Product Officer, in charge of conceptualizing and delivering new products and reporting to Consumer Business head Srini Gopalan. In 2014, he helped launch Wynk Music, and led the partnership with Google as the exclusive network partner in India for Android One. In 2015, Anand helped launch Freecharge Wallet, a digital payments service for Snapdeal's 87 million users. He is also a Producer of the award-winning HIV-AIDS related documentary Tapestries of Hope and has been an advisor to Storm Ventures. Anand Chandrasekaran has been Chief Product Officer of Jasper Infotech Private Limited since June 2015. Mr. Chandrasekaran served as the Chief Product Officer of Bharti Airtel Limited from April 8, 2014 to June 10, 2015. He co-founded Aeroprise, Inc. (BMC Mobility for IT Service Management) and also served as its Director of Marketing. He managed BMC Mobility for IT Service Management's product and corporate marketing initiatives. He drove mobile product management within the search product group at yahoo! Prior to yahoo!, he served as a Director of PM at Openwave driving new product incubation and day to day product management of the mobile mediation product line which touched more than 200 million subscribers daily through more than 70 mobile operators. Before Openwave, He served as Venture Advisor at Storm Ventures LLC. He served as the Chief Technology Officer and Head of Product at MorfMobile. Earlier, he served at MyToday SMS (India). He was associated with enterprise customers and partners to define product functionality, launch BMC products, implement go-to market strategies, lead market awareness and evangelism efforts and define inside sales strategies. Previously, Mr. Chandrasekaran served a variety of research, product and marketing roles with Yodlee Inc., the Indian Institute of Science, Raman Research Institute and SLAC. He served on the executive team and ran marketing for BASES, Stanford's largest student-run entrepreneurial organization. He co-founded Kwaish, Inc. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board at the Mobile Enterprise Alliance (MEA). He served as a Director of BMC Mobility for IT Service Management. He was recognized in 2004 by MIT and named to the list of Global Technovators. In 2010, he was selected by World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader. He and team were first prize winners at Garage Technology Ventures' PLANedu National Business Plan Competition in 2000.
