In recent years, there have been an increased influx of tourists from China to Kota Kinabalu. Therefore, in order to assist our tenants / shop owners to be approachable to Chinese tour-ists, the Management Office of Centre Point Sabah Shop-ping Mall has engaged with iPay88 Sdn Bhd to host a talk about installing Alipay applica-tion for their respective shop.

The objective of the talk is to assist the merchants to le-verage on cashless platform to collect payment from Ali-pay customers, Wechat Pay, Touch & Go and other cash-less payment options in just one mobile application. The talk which held on 8th March 2018 (Thursday) was attend-ed by 23 tenants of the mall.

What began as merely another competition is now a dream come true for countless aspiring per-formers and entertainers to show-case their talent in Hollywood, and to the world! The audition for Ma-laysian Championship of Perform-ing Arts which was held on 10th and 11th March at Palm Square has managed to gather many talented local performers in Dance, Vocal and Instrumental categories try-out for a spot to compete at the annual esteemed global meet. There was a total of 21 participants

took part during the audition – 12 (Vocal), 6 (Dance), and 1 each for Variety Art category (Catwalk, Beatbox and Bamboo Music).

The MCOPA audition was orga-nized and produced by MATME Sdn. Bhd., and sanctioned by Worldstars International and Glamour World Management. This event has served a great op-portunity and platform for tal-ents in Sabah to spread their wings to the international arena.

Centre Point Sabah and Na-tional Department for Cul-ture and Arts (JKKN) Sabah Branch shall be organizing scheduled weekend cultural dance performances with the tagline ”The Colours of Sabah”. These dance per-formances are arranged to be held from the month of March until Septem-ber 2018 at Palm Square.

The first dance perfor-mance was held on 17th and 18th March 2018.

We encourage all the tour-ist agency and hotels to spread the news that the tourists are welcome to enjoy this annual cultur-al performances with us!

MARA Education Fair was success-fully held at 4F Palm Square and Ground Floor event hall on the 24th and 25th March. The event orga-nized by Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) was launched by Assistant Minister to Sabah Chief Minister, YB Datuk Hj. Arifin Bin Hj. Mohd Arif.During the event, there was a total of 50 Education booths setup at Palm Square. The event saw participation from locally established universities in Malaysia such as University Selan-gor (Unisel), University Kuala Lumpur (UniKL), Multimedia Science University (MSU), Open University Malaysia (OUM), University College Sabah Foundation

(UCSF), Almacrest International Col-lege and Asian Tourism International College (ATI). Additionally, numerous activities were conducted for the two days event such as Forum & Talk, Fruit Carving, Hair Stylish, Quiz & Lucky Draw and Young Innovative & Cre-ative Entrepreneurship Programme. Aside from the Education Fair, Ground Floor Event Hall was also joined by 22 booths which registered under MARA Entrepreneurship Programme.

The complex security guard is an important individ-ual in the prevention of complex fires and ensuring that workers and patrons are safe during a complex fire emergency. Our complex security guard develops these capacities through the development of knowl-edge, skills and experience related to their role in fire safety. Through fire drill training, it will develop a clear understanding of the role of the security guard in preventing fires, ensuring the accessibility of fire protection equipment and supporting evacuation.

Discipline is of utmost importance since there will be many situations when our complex secu-rity will be taking decisions in situations of emer-gency and contingency. We strictly maintain our security discipline so they could be prepared fully and practice the right behavior so that in case of any situation, they can take the right de-cision and follow the proper course of action.

The road works of repairing road at carpark entrance and carpark exit had already completed. The newly repaired road is now smooth for ve-hicles to enter and exit from our car-park.

There is a newly renovated corridor that will serve as new entrance walkway into our Ground Floor complex. The new entrance will be opening soon together with Servay Premier Hypermarket.
