Daraygon; Champions of UPVTC Sportsfest 2014

Daraygon snatches the Divergent inspired gold trophy as they crowned themselves champions to conclude the UPVTC Sportsfest 2014. They accumulated the most points garnered in all activities that were held during the sportsfest. They topped major events in sports including Mens Basketball, Mens Volleyball, and Mens Soccer. Not only that they topped these major sporting events, the Dauntless Daraygons swept other factions, (namely AmityBatch Sinugdanan, CandorBatch Hadianon, EruditeBatch Hinungdan, Abnegation5 and Up, and SariganFaculty members), in terms of winning most of the minor events/games in the said sportsfest. Elsalsa wins Ms. Sportspoof 2014

Elsalsa, (Rolf Codilla, BSA 4, dressed as The Disney Queen in the popular movie Frozen), is crowned Ms. Sportspoof 2014 award. Ms. Sportspoof is a prestigious pageant during the years sportsfest organized by the internationally known fraternity group, Alpha Phi Omega (APO). 1 | Page

They have also dominated in the Parayaw Night 2014 organized by the UP Runggiyan on the first night of the said sportsfest. In the Elimination round of 60 seconds to fame, NU-UP Daraygon (Daraygon) got 1st place with the score of 290 followed by 2nd placer

Only male students are allowed to enter the said contest and contestants dress as women characters of a particular theme, this year famous female villains of popular movies. The pageant is the most awaited event of the UPVTC Sportfest and it is the final blow before the announcement of the over-all ELSALSA WINS /9

Volleyball: Daraygon stuns Sinugdanan in Championship Match

Last day of the UPVTC Sportsfest 2014 and the heat does not subside as Dauntless Daraygons clashes with Sinugdanan Amity. The volleyball championship match between these two giants was held at the UP Ladies Dormitory area.
