On 2nd of January, our school celebrated both Christmas and
New year together. It meant double fun for us. This fun
became more vibrant as being Thursday, so the celebrations
started with few soulful bhajans in the glory of our Beloved
Swami and that was followed by Harathi.
The students decorated the Christmas Tree and the Principal
wished the teachers and students Merry Christmas and
extended her wishes for the New Year. In her New Year
message, she included an anecdote about how to learn to give
rather than to take.
Further, the Vice-Principal also conveyed Merry Christmas and
warm New Year wishes to all the teachers and the students.
Class IX girls presented an informative approach of analyzing
English alphabet. That was just splendid work by them. Next,
these girls sang Christmas Carols. Again, they nailed it!
At the end of the program, New Year gifts were given to the
teachers and the students through „Lucky Dip‟. Everyone
enjoyed the celebrations very much. Indeed, both the events
were memorable.
The colourful Cultural Week was held after Sankranthi Holidays to enhance the
hidden talents and confidence in the students. As a part of Cultural Week
Mono-action and Group Singing competitions were organized for classes VI to
IX on 17th January and III to V classes on 20th January 2020. All the
participants were well dressed and prepared as per their role. The students
enacted as Jhansi Laxmi Bai, Rudramma Devi, Alluri Sitaramaraju, Peasant, etc
and conveyed valuable messages. Indeed the Cultural Week was a unique one
and the students participated in an exceptional way.
The 71st Republic Day was celebrated in the School Campus with great nationalisticspirit. The event was anchored by Sathya House Teacher Mrs. Deepa in a commendable way.The Principal, Vice Principal and one of the senior teachers Mrs. Jayashree hoisted ourNational Flag. This was followed by the spectacular March Past by students of Classes VI to X.Miss A. Srimedha of II std gave a wonderful speech stating the importance of Republic Day.Mrs. Jayashree also came out with a thought provoking speech stressing on the idea thatevery Citizen should serve our Motherland. Patriotic songs sung in Kannada and Telugu wasthe highlight of the program. The program concluded with Harathi to Swami.
God places the heaviest burden on those who can carry its weight. Be the change you want to see in this world. Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into a friend. God puts something good and something lovable in every person he creates. It is greed to do all the talking but, not to want to listen at all. Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies. Beauty is not in the face; beauty is a light in the heart. Successful leaders have the courage to take action while others hesitate. The mind is not a vessel to be filled but a fire to be kindled. Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.
“QUOTABLE QUOTES “
A lady and her husband dressed in ordinary clothes stepped off the train in Boston and
walked timidly without an appointment into the Harvard University President‟s outer office. The
secretary could tell in a moment that such country people had no business at Harvard University.
“We want to see the President,” the man said softly. “He will be busy all day,” the secretary
snapped. “We will wait,” the lady replied.
For hours, secretary ignored them, hoping that the couple would finally be discouraged
and leave. They did not and secretary grew frustrated and finally decided to disturb the
President.“May be if you see them for a few minutes, they will leave,” she said to him. He sighed
in exasperation and nodded. The President, stern faced and with dignity, strutted towards the
couple. The lady told him, “We had a son who attended this University. But about a year ago he
was accidently killed. My husband and I would like to erect a memorial to him, somewhere in the
campus.” The President was not touched…..he was shocked.
“Madam,” he said gruffly,” we can‟t put a statue for every person who attended this
University and died. If we did , this place would look like a cemetery.
“Oh no!” the lady said . He glanced at her their clothing and explained, “A building costs seven
and a half million dollars at this University.”
For a moment the lady was silent. The lady then said to her husband, “Is that all it costs to start a
University? Why don‟t we start our own?” Her husband nodded.
The President‟s face turned white and the couple got up and went to California where they
established their own, Stanford University, a memorial to a son.

George Crum: Inventor of
Potato ChipsThe potato chip was invented
in 1853 by George Crum.
Crum was an American Chef
at the Moon Lake Lodge resort
in Saratoga Springs, New York, USA.
French fries were popular at the restaurant and one day a diner
Complained that the fries were too thick. Although, Crum made a
thinner batch, the customer was still unsatisfied. Crum finally made
fries that were too thin to eat with a fork, hoping to annoy the
extremely fussy customer. The customer, surprisingly enough, was
happy – and potato chips were invented!!!

THE KITE
Flip, flap! Flip Flap!
Rises my kite,
Up and up in the sky,
That is so blue and bright,
Flip flap! Flip Flap!
Goes my Kite,
Sometimes to my left,
And sometimes to my right.
Flip, flap! Flip Flap!
Flies my Kite,
High and high above
It fills me with delight.

A FRIEND LIKE
YOU
Of all the things
With which I‟m
Blessed,
A friend like you
Is one of the best.
Our friendship is
an important part,
of the things I
cherish
In my heart.
There isn‟t a way
That I can see,
To say how much
you mean to me.
The world would be
awesome.
It is true,
If more people had
A friend like you.

GOLDEN WORDS OF BHAGAWAN FOR STUDENTS“Each religion forgets that God is all forms and all names, all attributes and all assertions. The religion of humanity is the sum and substance of all these partial faiths; for there is only one religion and that is the religion of Love.”
