We have had an extremely busy week and I am delighted with how positively our school community has adapted to the new routines, timetable and safety procedures. I have been very proud that our community have tried their very best, something I asked everyone to reflect on in my recent assembly. To ensure our school and wider community remain safe, I would like to remind parents/carers that children who display symptoms of COVID must not come into school. Students who display symptoms should arrange a test and students must not return to school until they have been notified that their test is negative. It has been heart-warming to learn of a number of students within the community who have been acknowledged for their kindness, humanity and thoughtfulness. They really do epitomise the ethos of our school and are role models to the whole school community. Very well done to you all! As always, a huge thank you must go to you all for your unwavering support, ensuring the safe return of your children. I am also very grateful for the kind comments and gratitude that have been emailed into school. Wishing you a great weekend Cathrin Thomas

COVID-19 Government Guidance
If your child is displaying any potential covid-19 symptoms:
Keep your child at home and inform the school.
Arrange a COVID-19 test - It is important that you do NOT send your child back to school prior to
receiving a negative test result. Any siblings can continue to attend school whilst you are awaiting
the result.
Please inform the school of the test result.
If the test is positive please keep your child at home for at least 10 days until they no longer have
any symptoms, or until they just have a cough or changes to their sense of smell. Any siblings must
remain at home self-isolating for 14 days.
Cycling Safely to School
It is lovely to see so many students cycling to school!
To ensure the safety of your child and others we must remind you of the
following:
Bicycle helmets are compulsory.
Students should not cycle on the pavement.
Thank you
Toilet Breaks
We wish students to use the toilet facilities in their break times and not during lessons as their learning
has already been so disrupted it is important that we have good routines in place.
Should there be an essential need to go, or medical reasons, then our students are collected and
escorted to the toilet. This is to ensure we are adhering to our risk assessment and students are
remaining in their year bubble when in school.
