Big Vegie Crunch Thanks to more than 174 schools across NSW, we absolutely smashed last year's record - 27,858 students crunched at 10am on Thursday 25 May with a further 5,033 students crunching at other times over Vegetable Week. Thanks to our dedicated canteen mums who prepared the platters.

Classy Cooks

This week in Classy Cooks Year 2 made Nachos. They were very busy grating, chopping, stirring, washing up and eating! We looked at the garden and did some weeding and watering. If your child has a pair of gardening gloves and would like to bring them in for their session this Wednesday please feel free, although not necessary. Also an old t shirt might be good to put over their school shirt as I noticed a lot of students quite dirty after their session in the garden. If you haven’t paid for Term 2 please pay $3 to the office.

Happy Cooking Mr Wiggins

This week 5/6T will be gardening and cooking

This is a reminder that deposits for the Years 3 & 4 excursions were due by the 5th May. We have paid a holding deposit for both of these camps which will be held from the 30th August to 1st September. If you have not already paid your deposit please do so by Friday 16th June. The final payment for both of these camps is due on the 4th August.

Deposits for the Year 5 & 6 excursions are due by Friday 16th June, with the final payments due by 22nd September. These excursions have to be paid by the school a month prior to travel which is why payments are required earlier than the leaving dates.

LOST PROPERTY After cleaning up the lost property area yesterday there is a clothes basket full of unnamed jumpers left over as well as about a dozen lunch boxes and some drink bottles. If these items are not claimed by Friday of this week the jumpers will be washed and put into our clothing pool, the lunchboxes & drink bottles will have to be thrown away, which is a shame given the cost of these things. PLEASE name your children’s belongings. While doing this clean up there were only 6 jumpers and lunchboxes with names on which could be returned to their owners!

Watoto Childrens Choir

Watoto Children’s Choirs have travelled extensively since 1994, sharing a message of

hope for Africa’s orphans and widows. To date, the choir has toured six continents and

widow.

Each child in the Watoto Children’s Choir has suffered the loss of one or both parents

and now lives in a Watoto village.
