REMINDER CONCERNING REMAINING 2017 CALENDAR

ICF Canoe Marathon World Cup – Shaoxing and Shanghai, China

21-27 October 2017 The World Cup will be a combination of 2 venues near each other, Shaoxing which is chosen for the 2019 World Championships and Shanghai. See enclosed bulletin with details of the event.

The organizers have secured top level competition by inviting 40 top paddlers based on the 2016 World Championships results. By this, all 5 continents are secured representation in the competitions. REMINDER also for this World Cup: There is no limitation for entries in all classes in the World Cup competition. Till now, 24 countries made their entries:

WORLD RANKING 2016-17 Winners The World Series Races, the World Cups and the World Championships are combined into a World Series for K1 Men and Women, C1 Men and Women, with a point system leading to the World Ranking with World Championships as the final event where the winners of each of the 4 classes will receive an ICF Trophy.
