selection, were invested with the badges by the Principal Mr. Swapan Mukherjee and senior Co-coordinator Mr. Mayur

During this year the school has so far made few changes in the infrastructural area.

Renovation has been done in the Junior section. Such as rearrangements in the classroom, with new furniture, new

flooring etc. near the classrooms sufficient playing area is arranged with newly painted walls and pathways. This

would attract the students to come to school on regular basis. The colours would capture their attention to come to

school and indeed consider their school as 'a second home'. The Junior section is also fortunate enough to expand its

library with innumerable interesting and informative books. The minds and hearts of the students would thus be now

to a greater extent filled with joy and enthusiasm for learning.

As all of you are aware that Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan's,

Vadodara has, in the past, always come out with new ideas

and thoughts that were always beneficial to the students in

their career as well as personal upgradation.

During this academic year we have introduced certain

changes in the assembly which we do hope will be of help to

our students.

Teachers are given opportunities to present a talk which is

pregnant with moral values to inculcate the same in the

students. Apart from the above, twice a week English teachers

come up with four new English words along with their

elaborated meanings and pronunciation. The students in turn

are asked to pronounce those words. This invites their

participation and makes them learn those words faster and

thus this informal drill stays in their mind.

Frequently I'm asked to describe my favourite placeThe answer comes and there's a smile on my face- It's a place where dreams come true, A place which is destined only for a few. Where to reciprocate good for every cause Is the preamble of everyone's ethosWhere everyone believes in SERVICE BEFORESELFWhere all stand together cause UNITY IS STRENGTHWhere WISDOM IS COUPLED WITH TOLERANCE To accentuate the greatest performanceWhere the sun of knowledge shines eternally bright To bring us out FROM DARKNESS TO LIGHTWhere everyone can scale the greatest heights As they are taught by gods in disguiseWhere a child enters innocent and naïve And leaves as an asset for the country who thrives This is the place of my delight! With astonishment I'm asked- "What's this place and is it true?" I reply- "Its name is Bhavan's and it's the greatest school" Then I'm asked- "How do you know the Bhavan's you described?" with pride in heart and head raised high I reply "It's my school and I'm a Bhavanite!"

Imagination, a hidden power

Its like a secret treasure

It's a dream with an open eye.

When imagination becomes bright,

The sun of ideas comes to rise,

This power is going to stay with someone

Even if we die

If the flower of imagination

Is not blooming anymore

It simply indicates that,

the whole world has changed.

Let this lamp remain alight

To keep our world shining bright.

Creative SectionI want to ask you a few questions tonight,

I don't know why I am facing a little fright,

But I know that you will make me feel alright,

Because I know that you won't mind.

Yesterday we had the last of exams,

All came out with nice programs,

I asked my friend, in last question what did he wrote,

He replied, all he could rote.

I felt like my heart full of holes,

Eaten up by a number of moles.

This proves to student as a dilemma,

Just like a signal not reaching antenna,

I asked for help from my parents,

They ordered me to just get marks and not warrants.

I wondered if I can identify in anyone my own

reflection.

Was really this the purpose of education?

Luckily to all us weird creatures,

We have our unique teachers,

I asked her-what do we get from education?

She replied-mere satisfaction.

Her answer took me from dark to light,

And ensured that my future remains bright.

I want to ask you a few questions tonight,

I don't know why I am facing a little fright,

But I know that you will make me feel alright,

Because I know that you won't mind.

When opportunity knocks don't hesitate,

Open the door and celebrate.

It may be what you are looking for,

How would you know, if you don't open the door.

When opportunity knocks let it in,

It may bring you a bashful grin.

But if only one side of the door you abide,

How would you know what is on the other side.

When opportunity knocks,

Go in hurry; leave your doubt, fear and worry,

Be sure and let opportunity in

Because opportunity may never knock again.

The grass was wet,

it was the time when we met.

We turned out to be best friends,

& I dont want this fiendship to ever end.

I cant imagine my life without you, You see,

as you are very very special person for me.

I know sometimes things are not fair,

but dear in my heart you are always their.

Oh our stupid fights,

I know its not always that I am right,

but trust me, your turned my life,

from darkness to light.

When I got scared,

You are the only one who cared.

You helped me when things got tough,

we solved them together with a sweet laugh.

You were their to wipe my tears,

and to fight away all my fears.

You made me smile with just a small touch,

at the end, I just want to say,

Dear Thank u so much

Let it be the film 'Koi Mil Gaya' or 'PK', the game 'Alien

Shooter', or 'Saints row 4', they are all created by us, the

humans, on the idea of aliens. The pictures of alien

existence are always viral on internet. We have a strong

belief that, in other planets, in other galaxies, there exist

living beings just like us, or advanced, may be, who come

to visit earth often.

Aliens, what we call them, the word refers to a foreign or

queer object on being. They are believed to land on earth

in their huge Frisbee shaped spaceships, which we call

UFOs(Unidentified Flying Objects). Some believe that

aliens conspire to demolish the earth with their future

weapons, while some believe to befriend them. And

others, who believe to catch them and carry out scientific

research on their existence in large numbers. But, Koi Mil

Gaya was a different film in which Rohit Mehra (Hritik

Roshan) displayed humanity by befriending the alien,

and sending him back to his planet. Recently, the super

hit film PK, starring Aamir Khan, displayed an alien

(A.Khan) who learnt to speak Bhojpuri and several other

things from humans. He also displayed and shared his

idea about God. But during his return, he was found to

have learnt how to lie, from humans.

Whether these beings exist or not, whether they visit us

or not, we, the humans have used the idea of aliens very

innovatively in movies, computer games etc. how these

beings would think, would react, would take action, has

been displayed in different fields of media. In science

fiction books, aliens have the leading role. The people

who use the idea of aliens to convey practical messages

to people, we salute them! The amount of intelligence

they possess has surpassed the most advanced aliens,

because humans can predict the thoughts of the aliens.

If, ever in the future, aliens pay a public visit to the earth,

they would be really fascinated to see their popularity,

even before they came. Unless we kill and capture them,

aliens might contribute hugely to human development.
