WELCOME TO TERM 2 A warm welcome back for the start of Term 2. I trust everyone had a restful break and a wonderful Easter with their families. We have a busy eleven week Term ahead which concludes on Friday 26th June. In addition to ANZAC Day (Saturday 25th April) and the Queens Birthday holiday (Monday 8th June), the only other planned pupil free day is Friday 5th June. Teachers will work on developing student reports for the end of 2nd semester.
ANZAC DAY SATURDAY 25TH APRIL 2015 An open invitation is extended to Tootgarook PS parents,
teachers and pupils to attend the Rye RSL Anzac Day
Commemorative Service and Centenary Plaque dedication
from 12.00pm at the RSL on Saturday 25th April. Our School
Captains Obelia Wycisk and Harrison Read will represent the
school by laying a wreath during the Memorial Service. The
March will commence at Rye Pier at 12:15pm
School Photo Day will be next Wednesday 22nd April 2015
Individual printed Envelopes with your childs name were sent
home last Tuesday. Family envelopes are available from School Office.
PLEASE NOTE: the school office DOES NOT handle any photo money so please have the correct money in your childs envelope.

Prep R Mrs Read Logan Gregg for working hard on learning her letter names and sounds.
1H Mrs Hughes Tex Shiba for his fantastic holiday writing. Tex you made us want to go. Great job.

2B Mrs Baird - Alex Dickson making good choices more often and for his excellent reading.
2J - Mrs Johnstone Ella Boyle-Vella Ella is friendly, helpful and kind to others. She tries her best in all school activities and is a valued member of 2J. Well done!
3A Miss Arnold Jennifer Dingwall Jennifer is always trying her hardest during learning activities. She is friendly to others and its a pleasure to have you in our class.
3W Ms Walton Kira Boyle-Vella - for her sensible approach to her studies and showing initiative. Kira always works extremely well and her written work is of a very high standard. Well done Kira.
4S Miss Staley + Miss McGhee - Taya Lobo - For writing an outstanding recount of your Walking With Dinosaurs experience. It is so wonderful to see you use new and exciting vocabulary in your writing Taya, you should be very proud of yourself. Keep up the fantastic work!
5Q Miss Quintin Renee Robinson for the excellent effort she put into her book advertisement in English groups. Her drawing skills are fantastic and she always displays integrity in her work.
6W Miss Withers Jacob Marthinussen for trying his hardest at the district level soccer trials. Well done Jacob, you represented Tootgarook PS well and made it through to regionals. Great Work.
