Staff, As we start making plans for Staff Summer Fun Day, we need to be nominating employees for the Employee of the Quarter, and Employee of the Year awards. Selected employee will be presented at Staff Fun Day. The Employee of the Quarter receives recognition and a $250 cash award. The Employee of the Quarter receives recognition and a $1,000 cash award AND two tickets to the Gala. It's been a challenging year with adding new programs, finding housing, staff turnover, water pipes busting, cold weath-er, move in's and move out's, and I could go on for awhile. These two awards serve to recognize employees that have gone up and above their roles to provide the greatest ser-vices to our residents. Eligible employees include and employee who has served 6 months for the Employee of the Quar-ter and 12 months for the Employee of the Year. Management staff are not eligible. Employee of the Quarter is nominated by staff and selected by NHH Directors Employee of the Year is nominated by staff and selected by the Executive Team. Thank you everyone and get those nominations to me! Jo Mullen (Director of Human Resources)

Wear your New Hope Housing Logo

T-Shirt or Polo on Friday, June 19th!!!

Staff,

The countdown is on for our annual Staff Summer Fun Day!! For all our new employees, this is a day to get to know your fellow coworkers from other sites, have some fun, relax, and have some good food! And you get paid for it! Awesome, right?

Do you remember growing up and hearing things like, "wear your Sunday best, don't get your Sunday clothes dirty, you change out of those Sunday clothes before getting on that bike" etc. etc. ???

Well, here is your chance to do what you want with your "Sunday best".

All staff have been issued a eye popping orange polo shirt complete with the NHH logo. If you have not, contact Jan, our development director. This is New Hope Hous-ing's Sunday best. Not Jan, the polo shirt. Okay, maybe Jan too.

Now, if there is a chance you might get your "Sunday best" polo shirt dirty (think BBQ, water, playing games, kickball, bball, etc.), then you might want to choose to wear one of your NHH t-shirts from years past. Old tim-ers, if you still have some of the old, old, ones, you are encouraged to wear one. It's fun to see how we have changed over the years!

Didn't get a NHH T-shirt last year? No worries, just call LaKesha (703-799-2293 ext. 23), we have ordered a few for our new employees that were not with us last year. Looking forward to seeing everyone on the 19th!! Jo Mullen Director of Human Resources
