Mr. Mensching currently serves as Principal at St. Jacobi, Greenfield, WI. If you would like to reach out and offer words of encouragement to Mr. Mensching, he may be contacted at (630) 429-6367 or [email protected]. Mrs. Neuser currently serves as our 4 year old preschool teacher at the De Pere campus. Please keep our school ministry, Mr. Mensching and Mrs. Neuser in your prayers as they deliberate their calls. CALL MEETING UPDATE LION PRIDE The results are in! The “Praying Mantises” were the 3rd quarter winning AR team. They ended the quarter with 1,075 points. The team members will each receive a $5.00 gift card to Smart Cow. The following are the top 12 readers for the 3rd quarter. Congratulations to Autumn Gosdeck (the top reader with 268 points) Jack Rosner, Lea Rosner, Myles Jensen, Jordan Gosdeck, Malik Schedler, Cameron Baye, Angie Stiles, Emma Wogsland, Isabelle Her- mann, Joel Rosner, and Melyssa Boehler. This year St. Mark students have read and tested on a total of 8,634 books earning 15,669 AR points! ST. MARK

FORENSICS

Just a reminder the FVL Forensics Festival is tonight. The Festival begins at 5:30 PM. Students are asked to arrive 15 minutes early.

You’re invited! Join us for open swim at Ashwaubenon HS pool this Sat. March 19, 2016 from 3:30-5:30 hosted by Kids For Christ! There is no charge for this event and all ages are welcome as long as you can stand or swim in 3 ft. depths! Lifeguards will be on duty with Mrs. Klug, so parents you may drop off & have 2 hours to yourselves or you are welcome to join us!

Track begins Wednesday, March 23rd with an informational meeting and 1st workout. Practice will be from 3:15 PM-4:30 PM. Track is open to all students in 5th-8th grade. If you are not sure if you want to join please come the 1st day and check it out! Infor-mational forms will be provided. Regular practices will begin on Monday, April 4th and will continue on Mondays & Wednesdays from 3:15 PM-4:30 PM. The following meets have already been scheduled:

♦ Brillion Lutheran Track Meet - Saturday, May 7th ♦ De Pere Invitational Meet - Monday, May 9th ♦ FVL (all students grades 5-8) meet - Wednesday, May 11th

Additional mid-week meets will be scheduled. Please note, students may participate in BOTH track and Bellin/Cellcom practice/trainings. Please contact coaches Jeannie Rosner, (920) 634-6252 or Linda Maxwell, (920) 217-5695.

SPRING PIZZA FUNDRAISER The St. Mark School Pizza Fundraiser is well underway and we need your help! We need every available adult and students grades 5 and up, to work that day. Beginning this Friday, please go online to the school website and click on the volunteer link. Remember, even if your family is unable to work that day, we need you to sign up on the “sorry, I can’t work” line of the signup sheet, so that we don’t call to ask if you can work. Remember to collect orders for pizzas! Orders are due to the school office by Friday, April 8th at 3PM! Paper bags are still being collected and may be brought to the school office.

Don’t forget! Signed report card envelopes are due back to your child’s teacher by this Friday.

Bellin and Cellcom Run Training Open to students in 3-8 grade You may train for either race or both! Training begins Monday April 4th See attached letter, permission forms, and training schedule for more information.

JOIN OUR TEAM!

St. Mark Lutheran School is looking to add a part-time custodian to our janitorial team. Candidate would be required to work Monday-Friday, late afternoons, between the hours of 3:00 PM-7:00 PM. Candidate should demonstrate leadership skills, be able to work independently and proficiently, and actively support the mis-sion and vision of St. Mark Lutheran Church and School. Duties would include, but are not limited to, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming upstairs and downstairs classrooms and hallways, removing garbage and recycling from classrooms, and sanitizing desks.
