Sign up in the Lobby to participate in this year's Operation Christmas
Child. Participants can pick up a brochure at the table with details about how to
pack a shoebox. Prayer cards and bumper stickers are also available. If you would
like to "FOLLOW YOUR BOX" this year, you may go on-line (samaritanspurse.org/
OCC) to pay the $7 per box shipping fee and print a label with a bar code. Then at a
later date, you will be notified about where your box was delivered.
OUR GOAL IS TO COLLECT 300 BOXES AT CROSSROADS
COLLECTION AND DEDICATION DAY IS NOVEMBER 16.

CAR WINTERIZATION—Auto Winterization for Single Moms and Elderly Who Cannot Do It Themselves—The date for this year’s auto winterization is October 25 from 9-11 at Reeves Alignment (523 W. Market St.). We are asking for those that need this service to call the church office and sign up by October 20. We need your name and car make and model. This will allow for the parts to be obtained in advance and for Reeves Alignment to better schedule their employees. For questions, contact Scott Shannon at 423-929-1139. Life Groups- Group life is vital to the life of a growing follower of Jesus. We need each other for accountability, to
walk through tough times, to ask tough questions, and to laugh. So join us every Sunday night in local homes from
5:45-7:30 as we dig deep together!
Youth Group- Join us every Wednesday while school is in session for a time of worship,
message, small groups and community games at Wild Branches (middle school) and Field 44
(high school) youth group in The Greenhouse from 6:30pm-8:00pm.

Crossroads Candy Carnival: We are collecting bags of individually-wrapped candy that will be given away at our annual Crossroads Candy Carnival on Friday, Oct. 31st from 6:00-8:00. Candy collection bins are located in the main lobby of each of our buildings as well as the lower level entrance of our main building. Thank you in advance for helping to make that event a success.

On November 15, Crossroads Womens Ministry will host Crossroads Marketplace (formerly known as Women to Women Expo). This event will take place from 10 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Over 25 vendors will be present including businesses such as Tupperware, Pampered Chef, Oragami Owl, Thirty-One and more. Also represented will be a variety of crafters, jewelers and potters. Special Demonstrations and presen-tations will be held throughout the day. Admission is free! This is a great way to purchase some great, unique Christmas gifts! Anyone who is interested in having a booth should pick up an information sheet and registration form in the lobby TODAY! Requesting 200 dozen cookies for the upcoming Kairos weekend, October 29th - Nov 2nd. Thanks to the members of Crossroads for baking cookies and bathing the weekend/ ministry in prayer. Those who wish to participate, please bring cookies to the church kitchen and label them "Kairos" so they won't be mixed up with other foods. The final pick up will be at 12:00 noon on the 29th.
