06/11 - 12/12 Project Management/ Tech Support Duke Energy

Responsible for being the single point of contact for outside sources coming into or near the Protected Area to perform outage related activities. My position included providing Technical Support for Mechanical maintenance on the Welding and Heat Exchanger end of the plant and reactor. I was also responsible for Dry Cask Storage (Spent Nuclear Fuel) welding activities which included scheduling and ensuring all training was performed as well as estimating staff and money

I was the Dose (Radiation Exposure Measurement) Advocate Representative for Maintenance which included providing dose estimates and ways to decrease dose in job execution to initiate PIP's where dose was higher or lower than expected to document and find the reason for the delta in dose received.

6/08 – 06/2011 Reactor Head Technician Duke Energy Fuel Crane Operator Duties included dis assembly and reassembly of the reactor head and all related equipment (valves, pumps, motors, duct work, structure steel hangers) for Refueling Outages. Fuel Crane operator on Sterns and Rogers with PAR controls for moving fuel from reactor to Spent Fuel Pool for offload and Spent fuel building to reactor vessel for reload. Maintained all PM's on equipment between outage cycles to ensure equipment reliability was maintained for upcoming outages

10/07 – 12/07 Advanced Rigger Oconee Nuclear Station Atlantic Group

Developed lift plan and assigned all roles and responsibilities involved in complex lifts to be executed on the 4 Reactor Coolant Fans. Overseen the execution of all 4 lifts made to ensure it was executed in a safe manner and that no deviation from the lift plan took place. 10/03 – 10/07 Advanced Rigger/Crane Operator Catawba Nuclear Station Atlantic Group

Duties include developing lift plans for common and complex lifts being made during Online and Outage work. Operated Mobile Hydraulic Crane as need for heavy lifts as well as performed rigging and approved all lift plans before execution in the station. Duties also included operation of heavy equipment, track hoe, back hoe, dump truck, dozier, packers, mobile hydraulic crane, boom truck, rubber tire loader, to support the RN replacement project that involved digging a trench 20 foot deep for installation of 4 poly RN lines lines 48” diameter from intake location to station and back out to the cooling towers. Operate 20 ton mobile hydraulic crane for pipe installation. I was the "Trenching and Shoring Competent Person" which includes assuring that the trench is suitable and meets all requirements before entrance.

08/03 - 10/03 Advanced Rigger/Crane Operator McGuire Nuclear Station

Operated fork lift for material handling in support of outage. Operated overhead Crane as needed in staging building. Provided material handling support for the Reactor building.

03/02 - 08/03 Heavy Equipment Operator Catawba Nuclear Station Atlantic Group

Duties included operating Track Hoe, Dump Truck, Back Hoe, Dozier, and Rough terrain dump trucks to support the RN (Raw Water) Project. I was the "Trenching and Shoring Competent Person" which includes assuring that the trench is suitable and meets all requirements before entrance. Job was to dig all trenches and associated valve pits for the RN Piping replacement Duties were also to operate a 50 ton truck crane and a 30 ton rough terrain crane to install all piping and associated valves. Other duties are described in previous duties description for CNS Mod team. (Same Team)

01/02 - 03/02 Builder McGuire Nuclear Station Duke Temp Duties included building scaffolds to support maintenance in reactor and associated piping during shut down.

11/01 - 11/01 Valve Technician Oconee Nuclear Station Duke Temp

Duties included assembling and disassembling valves associated or directly related with the reactor, turbine, and generator during shut down. I followed very detailed policies and procedures to execute work in a manner that to ensure safe and quality work was performed. Documented all work performed on WMS (Work Management System)
