New York is in the U.S.A.

The streets of New York go from East to West and the avenues go from North to South.

The Empire State Building and The World Trade Centre are the most famous skycrapers ,but there are many more.

This enormous park has an ice-skating, a lake and a zoo. You can go jogging and rollerblading in Central park, too.

New York´s luxury street is called Fifth Avenue.

Best place of New york for having dinner is one restaurant near Times Square.

New York´s favourite sport is baseball. The city has two baseball teams the Mets (Metropolitans) and the Yankees.

New York has a very good basketball team called New York Knicks.

New York´s most famous newspaper is called “New York Times”.

There are 100 cents in one dollar(1$). There´s a portrait of a US president on every coin and dollar note.

There are hot dog stands on every street in New York. They sell drinks and hot, salty pretzels, too.
