Founded in 1989, Carrol Boyes is a multicultural company designing, manufacturing and distributing an extensive range of distinctive metal homeware, giftware, flatware and tabletop products.

Artist, designer and entrepreneur Carrol Boyes is recognized as an icon by the South Afr ican design indust r y. Her imagination knows no boundaries and she has successfully refined her creative spirit and passion to build what is today a successful global brand.

This meticulously crafted product range currently encompasses well over 1000 items. Trademark metals and materials include pewter, spun and cast aluminum, stainless steel, chrome plated zinc, wood, leather and ceramics, as well as ABS resin.

The designs have become trusted collectables with an international following.

Carrol Boyes Functional Art has set the standard as one of the most successful South African design businesses and international exporters. Today the brand has over 30 stand alone shops nationally and internationally and the collections are available at sales points worldwide.

SKETCHBOOK CERAMICS‘Private Works Made Public’Carrol creates all her sculptures from drawings that she has accumulated in her archive of sketchbooks. For many years, these drawings have been her private, personal works of reference, attesting to her passion for the human body.
