Flow characteristics

Warning 1.For the exhaust needle valve type, adjust the flow rate by opening the needle gradually from the fully closed position. For the needle open, there are chances of the device flying out. For the other types, operate after confirming safety.

2.Do not force the product with a rotatable resin body to swing or rotate. Otherwise the body may suffer damage or develop leakage.Cautions 1.Clogging of element of Quick Exhaust Valve raises resistance to exhaust and results in lowering the performance of the whole system. 2.When you use the Quick Exhaust Valve as a shuttle valve, be sure to provide a differential pressure. No differential pressure may lead to malfunction. 3.Element of mini type cannot be replaced. 4.Before installing the valve, read Caution 2 in the Common Safety Instructions for Controllers and use a proper tool to install it using the outer hexagonal part. 5.Quick Exhaust Valve Throttle type (EQH) may get dark-tarnished around the exhaust port (hexagonal surface) because of exhaust air dirt, but it is not

an abnormality.

■ There are 2 attachment types in Quick exhaust valve Mini types; One is direct connecting type which the valve directly connected to a cylinder with male thread (Figure 1), and the other is union type which solenoid valve and a cylinder are connected by a tube fitting in between (Figure 2). Cylinder direct connecting type can exhaust air directly from a cylinder so that effective high- speed control is possible. With union type, efficiency of high-speed control changes depending on length of piping. (The shorter the piping is, the better efficiency becomes.) Besides, in comparison with Speed controller, Speed controller exhausts air through exhaust port of solenoid valve (Figure 3.). Therefore, when high-speed control of cylinder is necessary, Quick exhaust Mini type is recommended. Considere the above and select our products.
