BG Range

Product Ranges

Permaflor is available in two configurations, giving the option

of a fully steel-encased panel, or a steel faced panel with a

protective edging. Both are engineered using a high density

particleboard core, with the BE range having the further

option of a bonded surface finishes.

BG Range (Fully Encapsulated)

The fully steel-encased Permaflor BG panel combines strength and durability with ease

of installation, reliable performance and proven low maintenance. Permaflor BG is an

exceptionally rigid panel, with the option of gravity-laid or screw-down fixing; both make

a suitable substrate for most modular floor coverings. The high-density particleboard

core is encased in a galvanised steel jacket, then roll-pressed to a unique profile that

makes installation or removal easier and protects edges against damage.

BE RangeThe Permaflor BE panel uses an encapsulated construction of galvanised steel, bonded

to both surfaces. It features a protective ABS edge-band and is available with a bonded

vinyl surface finish. Permaflor BE offers improved handling and manoeuvrability throughout

installation, yet retains the strength and robustness of traditional steel encased panels.

The full-depth edge-banding provides improved tightness of fit between adjoining panels,

giving a firm air tight seal for an air plenum.

As well as non-standard sizes, a wide range of factory-bonded surface finishes can be

applied to the BE range, including carpet, timber and ceramics.

Permaflor OGThe unencapsulated Permaflor BPB range provides a budget flooring solution, but still

fully conforms to BSEN specifications. The Permaflor BPB high density particleboard has

excellent dimensional accuracy which forms good base for loose-laid carpet tiles.

Void HeightsPermaflor BG and Permaflor BE flooring systems offer

various pedestal permutations, allowing standard void

heights of between 26mm – 2,000mm, plus bespoke

high percentage of recycled material. When combined with a

proportion of recycled steel, this helps achieve our objective of

using natural resources within sustainable limits.
