2020 March for Life

.March for Life will take place on Fri., Jan. 24, 2020. March with our St. Charles Seminarians who will be leading the way! Archbishop Chaput will be celebrating Mass at 10 AM at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception with the Seminarians & the Philadelphia pilgrims. Following Mass, we will meet at the Smithsonian Castle next to the Rally to march with our seminarians. Pastor’s Corner

My dear Parishioners, This Sunday with the celebration of the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord, we formally conclude the season of Christmas. I want to take this opportunity to thank our staff & volunteers for all they did to decorate the church & school hall for the overflow Mass – we had so many com-pliments on how beautiful the church looked. I thank all of our liturgical ministers, especially the OLA Choir for their beautiful music, & finally, I want to thank all of you, my dear parishioners, for your generosity towards this year’s Christmas collection. I pray that the joy, love and peace of the Christ child will remain in your hearts and homes. This weekend after all of the Masses, we will have a brief presentation regarding The Parish/Malvern Men’s Retreat Weekend which is scheduled for Jan. 31st through Feb. 2nd. Members of OLA who normally attend this retreat will be speaking at all of the Masses in order to provide information & to encourage participation. More information is available in the Bulletin & on the parish website. This coming week I will be traveling on a ten day pilgrimage to the Holy Land with several of our parishioners and friends. This is my first time visiting the Holy Land. I am very much looking forward to walking in the footsteps of Christ and visiting the many holy sites there. I would ask you to please keep all of us in your prayers. Please be assured of my prayers for all of you & our wonderful parish. Finally, an update on our Annual Appeal. As of this writing we have received a total of $ 85,045 in donations. Since this annual appeal usually comes to a formal close at the end of the month of January, there is still time to contribute if you haven’t already done so.
