NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing will be held on June 3, at 7:00 p.m. at the City Hall of Kindred, North Dakota, concerning the enactment of a proposed zoning ordinance. The proposed ordinance involves the following described property:
Auditor’s Lot 1; Lot 7, the East Half (E½) of Lot 8, Lot 10, and the East 24 feet of Lot 11, all in Block 2; Block B; Lots 7 through 18, Block 3; Lots 1 through 12, Block 6, and a parcel of property located adjacent to Au-ditor’s Lot 1 which is leased by the Kindred Fire Department and known as GN Lease #546033 and RRVW Lease #1132-2058, all in the Original Townsite to the City of Kindred, Cass County, North Dakota.
The ordinance is for the purpose of rezon-ing the above-described property from a GC-1 (General Commercial) District to a D (Down-town) District.
A copy of the proposed ordinance is avail-able for public inspection and copying at the office of the City Auditor by appointment.
Please check the City’s website prior to this date if you plan to attend the hearing as there may be a need to hold a virtual hearing, whereby a link can be obtained by contacting the City Auditor.

LEONARD CITY COUNCILMotion made and carried to adjourn the
Leonard City Council meeting on April 6, 2020. The May 4, 2020 meeting was called to order by Mayor Gregg Wessels. Bjerke, Goltz, Nudell and Vangsness present.
Secretary and Treasurer reports read and approved.
Brad from MLGC attended the meeting to ask the City if his company could purchase four lots along Railroad Ave. North which the City owns. Motion made by Bjerke to sell the four lots along Railroad Ave. North from Main Street North, going east for 100 feet to MLGC for price of $5,500.00, seconded by Nudell. Motion carried.
Cass County deputy reported six calls for service in April, 2020 - two domestic, two kids on four-wheelers on paved roads and two routine calls.
The following bills approved to be paid: Fraedrich Transport, $1,568.00; Internal
Revenue, $517.34; Cass County Reporter, $59.34; Rustads, $380.00; PG&A, $72.50;
S&L Computer, $1,341.49; M. Nudell, $183.55; M. Hahn, $700.00 (jetting sewer); Z. Johnson, $277.05; M. Wendling, $369.40; G. Wessels, $62.34.
Next meeting will be Monday, June 1, 2020 and 7 p.m.
