The Canoptek scarab may seem inconsequential and weak, but when dealt with a seething carpet of them, they leave nothing behind but the empty shells of the dead.

Wargear: A Scarab swarm is equipped with mandibles (count as a hand weapon).

Small: When making a shooting attack at long range, enemy models suffer a -1 penalty to hit. Vulnerable to blasts: Damage taken from template-based weapons are doubled.

Entropic Bite: Whenever a model makes a successful armor save, roll a dice. On a 4+ the armor save throw takes a -1 penalty. This effect is cumulative.

With bladed claws, these dreaded creatures emerge from the earth in search of victims. Infected by the flayer virus, these twisted automations strike fear in their enemies hearts by wearing the flesh of the dead; strips of fresh cut skin draped across their robotic bodies.

Wargear: A Flayed One is equipped with flensing claws and a warrior exoskeleton. From Below It Came: Once both kill teams have been set up, but before a mission begins, you may make three free run moves with this fighter. They may not do anything during these moves except run, and must remain at ground level at all times when they do so. They also may not move within 8” of an enemy. Macabre Decor: Flayed ones cause fear.

Known more for their engineering feats than their combat prowess, a Cryptek can be found on the battlefield making field repairs on fellow soldiers as well as unleashing artifacts of mass destruction.

Wargear: A Cryptek is equipped with a staff of light, chronometron, and a warrior exoskeleton. Artificer: Friendly Necron models within 6” can re-roll their first failed ammo roll.

Rare sighting: Only a single Cryptek can be fielded per mission. Furthermore, if a Cryptek is down or out of action at the end of the game, the enemy player gains an additional promethium cache.

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT

CHRONOMETRONA chronometron is an arcane eye-shaped device that manipulates space-time. A chronometron confer an invulnerable saving throw of 5+. Furthermore, a model equipped with this may re-roll a single dice roll each game turn. This dice roll must directly affect this model though (IE: saving throws, characteristic tests, rolling to hit/wound, etc).

Where are the old operatives? Unlike other faction operatives, we felt that the current ones were a lot of fun. You are free to use all the other Inquisition operatives found in the Games Workshop digital downloads. We hope these new ones just give you a little more stuff to play with.
