• 10 years of experience in the fields of corporate strategy, sales optimisation and marketing strategy. He has

particular experience in the areas of geographic market expansion, outsourcing business models, online customer

experience management, value proposition creation and benefit models.

Industry Expertise

� Jean-Noël has had the opportunity to work with some of the world’s most important smartcard providers

(Gemalto, Morpho, Giesecke&Devrient, Oberthur, NXP, Inside, Infineon, Atmel, ASK) telecom operators (Orange,

Vodafone, Deutsch Telekom, Telefonica, NTT Docomo) and financial institutions (VISA, Mastercard, American

Express, RBS). In recent years, Jean-Noël has especially focused on smartcard personalisation (from secured

data generation through smartcard to end user delivery). He created and managed software development centre

and deployed worldwide software services . His project experience spans several continents, as he has worked in

USA, UK, England, Poland, France, Germany, Spain, Australia and Singapore.

Career Highlights

• Prior to joining Frost & Sullivan, he was the manager for a Gdansk (Poland)-based Gemalto, where he was

responsible for the software development for smartcard personalisation and also deeply involved in the business

development of new products. Smartcard projects were covering Telecom, banking, healthcare, transportation

and government ID area.

• Before that, Jean-Noël worked for Gemalto, where he was responsible for the new product introduction in

smartcard arena. Main projects were Multos cards, TIBC cards, EMV/B0’ VISA card…

Education

• Master’s degree in European Computer Science University Paris VI in Paris.

• He speaks English and French fluently.

The first pilot was done in 2007, in April 2010, 2,5 million cards were in circulation in the country.

Most of the public services are accessible through websites and with

the use of this eID Smart Card:

Poland: The Expected Results

Tenders closed in 2010. Estimation: 4.9 million new ID cards

By using institutions website, Polish citizen will be able to:

• Transfer of specific data from national registers directly between theinterested agencies.

• Obtain a copy of the book of civil status anywhere in Poland.

• Have a real control over their personal data stored in state registers.

• Have the ability to remotely change.

the official address.• Use the Tax identification number.

• Have a certificate of disability.

• Have an official power of attorney.

eID of the Future

Russian Universal Electronic Card

• July 2010 law voted

• 2012 Start issuance of UEC

• The most interesting and full-scale project undertaken in Europe atthe moment.

• Will be a multi application card to:

• have access to institution services

• to prove identity and signature • have medical insurance and pension information

• serve as a transportation access card for public transport

• be a standard credit card to pay utilities, tickets, fines.

• a healthcare card for registrations and prescriptions

• an education card and to replace driver licence.
