Summary

• Target performance is excellent. Maximum temperature around 50 degrees.

• Since 2nd August per Super cycle:

• 4 pulses at 8e12ppp

• 1-2 pulses at 2e12ppp.

• We should continue with continuous proton beam checking the target performance.

• At the same time to measure the neutron flux at experimental areas for crossing check with the target.

• This week we needed to stop the beam few times for intervention for one of the detectors at both

experimental areas: PPAC1 and PPAC2.

• For the PPAC at EAR1 the problems have been solved.

• For the PPAC at EAR2 there are few problems concerning the gas system regulation. So we needed to

stop the beam more than expected. This problem has been partly solved, however, today we will need

another intervention of the EAR2, thus, to stop the beam.

• Then, interventions are needed we will try to do it in the afternoon after 17:00.
