Silent and Live Auctions

1. “Wings Auction 2015: Hollywood Nights - A Green Carpet Affair” has strived to accurately describe items

and services up for bid, but everything is sold “as is.”

2. Please read the catalog carefully to determine if there are any restrictions on the items for which you are bidding.

Purchasers are bound to the precise restrictions specified by the donor(s). No gift is transferable unless specified.

All sales are final.

3. Winning bidders on trips, condos and services should contact the donor within 10 days of the event to

mutually agree upon dates and/or times.

4. All auction items and services must be used within one year after April 25, 2015, unless specified. Failure to redeem

your item in this time period will result in forfeiture of your claim to the item.

5. Winning bidders are expected to make arrangements for payment in full at “Checkout” by the end of the evening.

Payment may be check, cash, VISA, MasterCard, Discover Card or American Express.

6. Items may be removed during the evening of the event by showing paid receipts at the door. Removal of auction items

must be arranged by the end of the evening.

7. Your bidder number is registered in your name. Use this number when you bid. Do not allow anyone else to use your number.

Silent Auction

1. The silent auction will be open for bidding upon guests’ arrival to Wings 2015. All silent auction sections will close at 9:40 p.m.

2. For complete instructions on Mobile Bidding, please refer to the previous page in the event program.

3. The first bid must equal or exceed the minimum bid listed.

4. Each increase in bid must equal or exceed the minimum increase noted.

5. Only an authorized person may nullify a bid.

6. In the event of a dispute, the auction official will render a final decision and shall determine the winning bidder.

7. To participate in the silent auction without a smart phone please see the Student Bidders stationed at all silent auction tables.

Live Auction

1. The live auction and fund-a-need will NOT be conducted through Mobile Bidding, but rather through your bid number card.

2. The live auction will continue without interruption until all the items designated for this portion of the event have been auctioned.

3. The auctioneer reserves the right to modify the rules by announcement prior to the start of the live auction.

4. If any dispute arises between two or more bidders, the auctioneer may settle the matter or may immediately put the lot up

for sale again and resell to the highest bidder. The decision of the auctioneer shall be final and absolute.

Knight remains the object of near fanatical devotion from his former players and Indiana fans.


545 16x20 Framed and Autographed Print - 1964 Browns Championship1964...The Cleveland Browns had finished the regular season with a record of 10–3–1 and won the Eastern Conference. The Browns were led by their head coach Blanton Collier, quarterback Frank Ryan, running back Jim Brown and receivers Gary Collins and Paul Warfield. In the Championship Game, Gary Collins set a title game record with three touchdown catches in one game. Frank Ryan threw those three passes in paving the way to the Browns’ fourth NFL crown. Lou Groza kicked field goals of 42 and 10 yards. Jim Browncarried the ball 27 times and gaining 114 yards.

The Browns’ win was the most recent major professional sports championship for the city of Cleveland. This is a great piece of Browns history autographed by 24 members of the team including Jim Brown.

719 Four Horsemen Sculpture“Outlined against a blue, gray October Sky, the Four Horsemen rode again. In dramatic lore they are known as famine, pestilence, destruction and death. These are only aliases. Their real names are Stuhldreher, Miller, Crowley and Layden.

So wrote Grantland Rice following the 1924 victory of Notre Dame’s “Fighting Irish” over the Black Knights of Army at the Polo Grounds in New York City. The Four Horsemen went on to lead the Irish to their first national championship. All four players have since been enshrined in the College Football Hall of Fame.

This unique sculpture of the Four Horsemen of Notre Dame by Jerry McKenna ‘56 is sure to be a welcome addition to any ND collection.
