Hello,
I’m Adam, a graphic design student. My style varies but a common trait I have is the use of thematic styles. What you are reading is a typographic book based on two fonts that I have chosen, “ShangriLa” and “Chuck Noon”. The fonts made me think of mysticism and power, thus I titled the book “Mystic Power” and have given it a sort of magical, arabic style. Hope you enjoy!

The following is the information found about the authors of both typefaces from dafont.com
“Fifteen years ago, I embarked on a wonderful voyage of discovery, when I created my very first font with Fontographer 3.15. My maiden voyages were, frankly, rather clunky and amateurish, but I have been told that they showed promise.
Well, sure enough, thanks to the diligent (and patient) efforts of Ilene Strizver, I polished up my craft enough to sell my humble efforts—first as a sideline business and, since 2006, as my full-time job. In total, I have produced over eleven hundred fonts—almost five hundred of them freeware fonts, which I conservatively estimate have been downloaded and enjoyed by over three million people worldwide.”
“Twicolabs Design is Fahrizal Tawakkal and Fahrizal Tawakkal is Twicolabs Design. My workpieces are in the form of tees design, logo / branding, typography, band merchandising, etc.
I sell fonts, vector stocks, T-shirts, prints, etc.”

The accent above the gis a bit distracting to me because I think it stops the flow of the type.
I feel that in a few places the serifs are quite what they could be. Such as on the upper case Z.
Much like the upper case Z, I feel that the F could push the serif curl a little further.
While I do like the upper case Q, I wanted to try something a little different.
I feel that lowering the accent and giving it a tilt
helped make the lower case g feel more natural.
I think that a second curl to the upper case
Z helped convey the feel a little better.
Adding some more curls to the upper case F also helped convey the feel I
was looking for.
Though this didn’t change much, I still
like it better than the original.
