Sri Vyasa Puja 2003 My sweet Gurudev, Please accept my humble obeisances at your Divine lotus feet. Gurudev, I offer you my heart on this great auspicious day of your holy appearance, expressing it in the following way: From the lotus lips of the Supreme Lord are coming melodi- ous words of love for His exalted devotee, Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj, who appeared by His infinite mercy to guide us in this material world from the darkness of our misery to the light of Divine Love. His sweetness is as brilliant as diamonds in the nocturnal sky. His love is inexhaustible because it is always present in every difficult moment of our lives, manifesting in many ways. When a flower appears before my eyes I become aware that it is special because it tells me, “Here I am. Have faith.” When it appears as a blue little bird of special plumage and tender glances coming into my house and the next day leaves with an halo of hope and peace. When a friend’s hand is giving me sustenance because I feel very fallen; when, after crying very much, I get news with encourage- ment, my heart tells me that it comes from the Divine. When I desire to have your association, even without deserving it, I enter the Math web page, discover amazing things and get a lovely welcome. Every day of my life is full of your infinite, causeless mercy. It has brought my soul from fear to the courage of continuing forward. It has been erasing my faults in order to become a better person, removing the unfavorable that takes me away from the real cause of existence. I was lost many times, and you are always teaching me again the path. When the beautiful remembrance of your previous visits to our country comes to my mind, I wish that you extended those days of your stay with us and didn’t go back to India. Gurudev, you are in my heart and thoughts. I humbly ask you forgiveness for all my offences and for everything that I did not do because of my own necessities. I want your exalted and blessed association. Gurudev, it is my humble wish that you be happy, not only at this moment, but forever in the ecstasies of supreme love. I worship your divine lotus feet. Sincerely aspiring to serve you, Lalita Sundari Devi Dasi Mexico

Sri Sri Guru Gauranga Jayatah!

Om Vishnupad Param Pujyapad Jagadguru Srila Acharyadev,

Please accept my koti dandavat pranams at your lotus feet on this most auspi-cious occasion of your holy appearance day. We hope you are playing your pas-

time of good health and thus giving joy to all the vaishnavas.

On this most auspicious occasion I am ashamed to appear empty handed at yourlotus feet. I am very embarrassed to be such a useless burden to you. At the sametime, I am eternally indebted to you for giving me the most beautiful service, ofwhich I have never become worthy.

So, please forgive all my offences, mistakes and faults by dint of your causelessmercy. Please continue to give me your blessings, mercy and guidance so I maybecome a useful servant in the near future.

I also offer my dandavat pranams to the thousands of devotees who are serving SriChaitanya Saraswat Math with such dedication and thus bringing you joy and satis-faction. Let there be all victory for Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math, and Krishna-kathaas instructed by Srila Guru Maharaj, since that is your desire.

I hope and pray to have your darshan soon. With my koti dandavat pranams again,

Your most useless servant,

Devamayi dasi, California

If not for you,Srila Guru Maharaja wouldn’t cast his glance toward me,He would never have heard my plea,I’d have no chance for his mercy, if not for you.If not for you,Misconception would find me wide awake. My consciousness would stagnate. It just would not be new if not for you.If not for you,My hope would fall,The great fear would gather too.Without your love I’d be nowhere at all.I’d be lost if not for you.If not for you,I couldn’t appreciate the real thing,Couldn’t hear the devotees sing,I just wouldn’t have a clueIf not for you.

Dear Gurudeva,

Please accept my most humble obeisances. All glories to your service and all theVaisnava devotees of the Lord.

Although I am here in Badger, California, a virtual desert in the mountains, I amable to follow the glories of your preaching activities through the Math Website, which always reminds me of your service to Krishna and your Guru Maharaja. Justknowing you are here on this planet makes everything all right, despite the wars, dysfunction and anger that permeate this world. You are my hope, and I know youkeep hope in the hearts of so many others.

While rotting in this old woman’s body I would have little hope for spiritual lifeexcept for the knowledge of my real goal, which is given by your words and insight. That is my only glimmer of a world beyond my habits and attachments. I alwayspray for more insight, some service and association with your devotees, that theybring me into your family and save me from being lost in this material world.

Aspiring for your service,

Yasoda d.d.U.S.A.

Vyasa Puja Offering for His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Deva Maharaj

All Glories to Sri Sri Guru Gauranga

Even if we lived in a world where love abounds we would still be captivated bythe shining heart of one, His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Deva

Maharaj. Rare to find such a one free from all envy, devoid of false prestige, givinghonor to all because his vision is pure and able to transmit transcendental affectionthrough dense obstacles to the suffering conditioned souls, who are suffocating frommiss-attachment to false ego.

Srila Govinda Maharaj has demonstrated the meaning of “dasanudasa,” the servantof the servant. His entire serving life reflects the mood of divine willing servitor-ship, which loosens the noose of senseless existence and thrusts one into the spiritu-al current of reality, Krishna Consciousness. How grateful I am to have the opportu-nity to know him, to feel his loving spiritual embrace though half a world apart, toreceive encouragement in the moment to moment challenge of practicing spiritualculture in this Kaliyuga.

Hope renewed, enthusiasm restored, love rising - all must be credited to my friendand well-wisher, Srila Govinda Maharaj. He is the extension of his divine support-ing guardians, Srila Sridhar Maharaj and my Srila Prabhupad. Wherever I may be,in eternal time, in any realm, I shall always recognize him as he increases the joy ofdeepening faith and love for Sri Krishna. May all who feel the pangs of separationin their divine serving life find the soothing shelter under the lotus feet of SrilaGovinda Maharaj.

Yours in humble service,

The Spiritual Master is entrusted with bringing conditioned souls from the dark-ness to the light. This is Krishna’s mercy. Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami

Prabhupada said that Krishna is the God to serve and that the Guru is the servant ofGod endowed with power from the Powerful.

Without your loving attention we are like children and cannot grow in the correctway to be engaged in pure devotional service. If we want to free ourselves from illu-sion and the darkness of ignorance it is necessary for the Guru to bring us the torch-light of knowledge. For us it is the greatest of gifts. It is not possible to develop lovefor Krishna without loving the Spiritual Master; therefore we pray to always givethe utmost importance to your instructions and to be bound to you through affec-tion and devotional service.

We are grateful for everything that you do for us, and we would like to developcomplete dependence and love for Krishna at your lotus feet even though we knowthat this boon is rarely obtained.

On this most special of days we ask you to consider us your eternally aspiring servants,

Most respected Guru Maharaj,

On this occasion of Your appearance I would like to wish Yougood health and very happy moments during this special dayof Your Sri Vyasa Puja.

I am unable to express my feelings and put them into word,so please forgive me for this disqualification. I am very thank-ful to You for having kindly accepted me as Your disciple. I am one of many fallensouls whom You blessed with Your endless mercy.

Praying to be able to serve you in all the circumstances that the Lord Sri Krishnacreates by His sweet will. I remain in the service of Sri Sri Guru and Gauranga.

Your insignificant servant

Krishna dasi, Amsterdam

Srila Gurudev,

Please accept my most humble dandavats at your divine lotus feet. I have no ideaof your divine glories. Actually, I am a blind person but there’s one thing that I

have seen: I have seen how your good Italian disciples have tried their best to satis-fy you. They faced so many problems but nothing could stop them. Villa Govindais the symbol of love and dedication that the devotees should have. When I got ini-tiated you told me that in a few years in Italy there would be many devotees. NowI can perceive a little bit how everything is real and mystic in the sweet path ofKrishna Consciousness.

Unfortunately, I’m the only rascal who has done nothing and who is still doingnothing for Villa Govinda. It’s also unbelievable to see how the devotees there stillconsider me as a friend.

Hoping to get the chance, at least once in my life, to serve your servants in VillaGovinda,

Your useless servant,

Advaya-krishna das , Milan, Italy

Sri Vyasa Puja 2003

All glories to Your Divine Grace.

Dear Srila Gurudev,

To try to give homage to you on this day is not so difficult because it takes only a lit-tle remembrance of the great fortune that I have had: to have spent some time nearyou. This has been enough to make me aware of the great magnanimous personalitythat you are - such a great personality, and at the same time, so easy to approach; soelevated and yet so close; so majestic yet so simple; so wise and so easy to compre-hend; so distant and at the same time, we can reach you easily; so respectable andyet so friendly; so grave and sober and at the same time, so meek and humble. Youhave such a big heart and are as merciful as Lord Nityananda. You are always con-cerned for the well-being of us all, always giving us your blessings.

My only concern is to be able to have sufficient intelligence and sincerity to valueyour mercy, so I can keep on the right path and not deviate because of my weak-ness. And for that, I am always praying to the lord to help me remain fixed on yourservice. I beg for your infinite kindness so I can become a worthy servant. For that Ijust need to close my eyes and remember your big smile; that way I can endeavourto occupy myself in some way to serve you. Thank you for being the way you areand for allowing us to be on your side.
