Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness comes from the Declaration of Independence .

I go to Calvine High School

Since I came to Calvine I was able to raise my grades and earn more credits so I can have the opportunity to graduate high school.

Coming here has enhanced my chances to reach my goal and receive my happiness.

What I do for my Pursuit of Happiness is stay focused in school, take any opportunity I can to graduate, and live my life to the fullest.

The most important thing to me is family.

My favorite thing to do is be with my family.

A positive trait about me is that am strong and I never quit

I pursue what I want

If I ran for president I would want to fix all the problems in the country but that would be a hard job to do.

What I think is important in the U.S. is the economy because with out a good one everything falls apart.

I feel that the most important amendment on the Bill of Rights is the first one.

It is the most important because it states that you have a freedom of speech, religion, and to petition.

With out the first amendment in this country many people wouldn’t have a voice.

What I think some citizens should do to make this country a better place is by first respecting the everyday laws that have been established because without laws their would be no order in the country people would be breaking laws left and right.

Citizens should also know how to manage their money that’s why many are in the situation their in now and many are without money and have lost everything.

Page 11: My Pursuit of Happiness

First we can start by learning how to stop wasting money on things we don’t need and save it for things we do or better yet not spend it at all.

Stop littering because it causes pollution in streams and rivers killing animals.

Hop on the bus instead of using a car that causes pollution in the air that adds on to the climate change.

Stop making nuclear weapons Stop war and make peace

Where I see myself five years from now is in college studying for whatever I want to be and have a part time job to pay for all my expenses

I plan to get there by first graduating high school and staying focused on reaching that goal.
