The PRINCIPAL Ar. Meor Wazir Zul'Aidin B. Arch (Miami), APAM
He has been practicing for close to two decades, with more than five years in the USA, after receiving
invitations and offers from practicing Faculty who recognized his talents while he was still pursuing his
degree at the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida. He was also invited to join the Academic
Faculty of the School of Architecture, University of Miami, specializing in 3D spatial designs and
computerization and ‘New Urbanism’ Town Planning principles, tutoring the 3rd and 4th Year Students.
During his third year (1987), he co-formed a successful venture named “Image Network” with masters-
degree graduates to explore the application of computers technology in Architectural design and
presentation. This venture was well published by Progressive Architecture, a prestigious architectural

During his 4th year, he was awarded the privilege to attend the renowned Architectural Association of
London, UK. There, he attended the studio conducted by OMA (inter7). This studio was frequently
attended by architectural luminaries such as Peter Cook (archigram), Zaha Hadid, the late Alvin Boyarsky,
Shin Takamatsu (leading Japanese Architect) and many other visiting critics, to offer their insight during
the students’ grueling final term.
He returned to the USA to finish his final year with the late Italian Architect Also Rossi, to complete his
commission to design the New Extension for the School of Architecture, University of Miami; a project
fondly termed as ‘Ziff Tower’ which floats in the middle of the lake adjacent to the existing school
buildings.

Urban & Architectural Codes for new Townships. These sets of codes and rules later became the founding

practices, namely Arkitek MAA SB and aQidea Architect, renowned for several landmark buildings in the
