Target AudienceMy target audience for the music video is 13+, although there isn’t any explicit content in the song, it should be appealing for all ages. In a suitable music video for teenagers 13+, it may contain violence, minimal blood and use of strong language. However, in our video there will not be any of these, as we would like it to be suitable for all ages.

Research and examplesThere are many music videos that are similar to ‘Lego house’, one for example is Sam Smith’s ‘Stay with me’. Both videos are very simple, with the main actor lip syncing to the song playing. Another similar music video is Taylor Swift’s ‘We are never ever getting back together’. The video is taken in one shot, which makes it unique compared to the others.

Information about the songThe song is about building a wall around the relation ship, so they can be protected. However, since Lego can be knocked down easily, it implies that the relationship can also be knocked down. However, Lego can be rebuilt. This means no matter what their relationship goes through, it can be rebuilt. This song was released on the 11th February 2013 as a single. It peaked at 5 on the UK singles chart.

Plot/ storylineA scene in our video will be stop motions of a Lego house being built up. It will be knocked down, which matches the lyrics of the song.

The first few seconds of the video will be in colour, when the

Lego is being built for the first time. Then it will be knocked

down the video will fade to black and white. At the end of the

video, the colour will come back, when another Lego house is

building up.

built up, we will use stop motions. A close up shot will be used along with the stop

motion. Panoramic shots will be used.
