Analysis of my results

First I noticed that people don’t spent that much on music magazines in general and spend about £0-2.00 on them. Therefore I should probably make my magazine cost around that sort of mark. I expected that this would be the most common price range. Most people access and find out about new music via the internet therefore I may include some sort of article about where to find cool new music on the internet. Because most people said they go to gigs occasionally, I think reviews in my magazine, will be there but will not take up a huge portion of the magazine. This surprised me as I thought people went to gigs a lot more often. The amount people spent of music was quite interesting because although most spent £0-5.00 quite a few spent £10 or more. So the music industry is quite popular. A lot of people watch music vids online which shows even more so how internet is now intricate to the music business. The most popular genre of music was Rock then metal then indie. Therefore my mag will be a rock/metal mag. To appeal to those who do buy magazines. I will base my magazine with inspiration from Kerrang! Mainly as it seemed to be the most popular magazine, therefore the layout and content must appeal to more people than the other consumer mags.
