2. SUPPLIERS SAP – SRM
SRM suppliers always have to be previously created in SAP and then a interface upload them to SRM.
In both systems supplier have the same code and information .

3. CREATION OF SUPPLIER´S FIRST CONTACT PERSON
Once the supplier has been created in SAP & SRM, it is necessary to create in SRM a minimum of one contact person for him to invite the supplier to participate in a tender process.
One supplier may have multiple contact people created but just one SRM user ID by supplier (so different contact people may have to share it)
When creating a supplier´s first contact person, the system creates automatically the supplier´s user but these information (User and password) is not send to the supplier until he is invited to participate (for the first time ) in a tender process.
To create a first contact person, go to Menu Tendering > Business Partner

Click in supplier´s information and search for the supplier to create the contact person for:

Supplier´s search result are shown in the following results area. Select the supplier and click in “Create contact person” button
The system will display the next window to introduce contact person´s information:
Contact Person Data
Basic Data: please introduce contact person`s required information. Those fields with a red “ *” symbol are compulsory fields.

When creating the first supplier´s contact people this section includes following subsection with the information to create the supplier´s SRM user id and password.
User data for contact person: Flag “Create user for contact person” is ticked by default in order to
automatically create the supplier´s user and password.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
“Date Format” and “Decimal Notation” for the supplier has to be properly introduced here.
Please take into account supplier´s country to fill in this information
In this subsection, take into account that this info refers to the supplier and it is not send to him until he is invited to participate in a tender process

4. CREATION OF ADDITIONAL CONTACT PERSONS FOR SUPPLIERS Both buyer and supplier can create additional / new contact person
To Create additional contact persons for the supplier (second, third etc) repeat the process as explained in the previous screen
As supplier´s user is already created, subsection User data for contact person will not appear.

5. DISPLAY SUPPLIER´S INFORMATION
To search and display supplier´s information in SRM, go to menu
Tendering>Business Partner > Suppliers
Click in the button for searching and the system will display the next window.

Introduce required values in any of the criteria search fields and click in “Apply” button
Supplier´s search result are shown in the following results area. Select the supplier and click in “Display” button
Supplier´s basic information will be displayed (It is not editable)

6. DISPLAY AND EDIT CONTACT PERSON`S INFORMATION The process is the same to search and display contact person´s information in SRM.
Go to menu
Tendering>Business Partner > Contact person
Click in the button for searching and iIntroduce required values in any of the criteria search fields and click in “Apply” button
Contact person´s search result are shown in the following results area. Select the contact person and click in “Display” button
