Finding Ways to Minimise Resource Use
What Resources?• Land• Buildings• Plant and Machinery• Raw Materials• Labour
• How to measure?
• How to reduce consumption and/or cut waste?
• How do you know you’ve made a difference?
![Page 25: MSAENV272B Participate in environmentally sustainable work practices](https://reader033.fdocuments.us/reader033/viewer/2022061500/56816195550346895dd13c33/html5/thumbnails/25.jpg)

Activity – Worksheet – E Block
1. 2-3 groups select a room nearby to consider for this exercise eg. classroom, lab, office
2. Identify activities carried out, resources used, how measured and potential improvements
3. Record findings on worksheet
![Page 26: MSAENV272B Participate in environmentally sustainable work practices](https://reader033.fdocuments.us/reader033/viewer/2022061500/56816195550346895dd13c33/html5/thumbnails/26.jpg)

Recap - conclusion
1. Consider sustainability – Triple Bottom Line and beyond
2. If you can’t measure it, you can’t manage it
3. It’s a journey – but you need to have a vision, strategies, actions and resources to make it happen
4. It starts and ends with you
