CAN OPEN PREVIOUS VERSIONS OF DOCUMENTS

will open older documents in “compatibility mode at top of the document "Compatibility Mode"

appears next to name of file OR after opening it in 2003,

click on the OFFICE button, > CONVERT (converts it to 2007)

drag it to the left to zoom out. Click the percent number to the left of slider

will open Zoom dialog box If your mouse has a wheel

hold down the CTRL key and turn wheel forward to zoom in

Other tabs appear for other activity areas i.e. tables, drawings, diagrams, and charts.

When you click away from these specific activities , the extra tab disappears, and the default

groups reappear

Mini Toolbar

point at a specific area of your document  A “Mini”, faded toolbar will appear When you point to the Mini toolbar, it will

become solid, you can then select one of the options

If you want more space to work Double-click one of the tabs in the upper-right

“white space” To go back to “default” double-click the tab again
