    OPERATION - How to use the Chronograph

    MOVEMENT

    Mechanical watcheswith automatic winding of the mainspring do notrequiremanual winding of the crown.The

    motion of your wristturns an internal rotor(oscillating weight) that winds the mainspring of the watch

    automatically.Daily routineisenough forautomatic winding of thewatch and it will run overnightif removed for

    sleeping.Youcan viewtheauto rotating oscillating weightin automatic watcheswith glassback cover.

    In theunlikelyeventyou should discovera mechanical problem with yourwatch,it isrepairable. However,you

    should notopen thewatch orattemptto repairityourself,asit will void yourwarranty.Thewatch back covershould

    beopened,and anyrepairwork carried out,only byan authorized watchmaker.Thewatch is a complex technical

    devicethatrequirescareful handling onlybyqualified technicians.

    Itwill work trouble-freeand keephighlyaccuratetimeif youdo the following:

    Wearthewatch a minimum of 10 hoursa dayto maintain automatic winding bythemovementof yourwrist.

    Protectthewatch from dropsand sudden,sharpshocks.

    Avoid exposing thewatch to strong magnetic fields(morethan 4800 A/M)and chemical agents.

    Do notexposethewatch to extremetemperaturessincethatcan weaken thecrystal.

    Havean authorized watch servicetechnician clean,lubricateadjustand re-certifythewater-impermeableseal, orwater-resistance,of thewatch notlessthan onceeverytwo yearsafterwarrantyisexpired.

    If thesesimplesuggestionsarefollowed,yourwatch should operateproperlyfora minimum of 10 years.

    20 ATM.Thatmeansthatyoucan swim with thiswatch underwaterwith scuba equipment.

    Yourwatch isequipped with screw-in watch crown.To settlehands,wind up thewatch orchangethe calendar

    setting youshould unscrewthecrown.Do not manipulatethewatch crown underwaterand even in conditionsof

    high level of humidity.

    Attention: Thereissomehumidityinsidethewatch thuswhen theoutsidetemperatureislowerthan insidethe

    watch,theinsideof theglassmayfog uptemporarily.Thisisnot a failure.Butif itkeepsfogging and doesntclean

    uporwatergetsinsidethewatch,repairisrequired.

    Recommendations:

    Pleasehavethewaterresistanceof yourwatch tested onceeverytwo yearsatyourservicecentre.

    Gasketsarevulnerableto organic solventsand chemicals,thusbesureto keepthe watch awayfrom them

    (shampoo,soap,cosmetics,etc.).

    If thewatch contactswith seawater,clean well with fresh water.

    OPERATION - Display / Crown / Buttons

    Yourwatch hasa screwed-in crown,itshould beunscrewed beforetimeand datesetting.Do notforgetto screwthecrown back afterthewinding!

    Howtoset thetime: Pull outthecrown to thesecond click position. Turn thecrown to sethourand minutehands.Check thatAM / PM issetcorrectly. Push thecrown back into thenormal position.

    Note: During time setting,if thechronograph isstarted,chronograph hourand minute handswill rotatesimultaneously.Thisis nota malfunction.Pleaseresetchronograph bypushing buttonB.Chronograph hourandminutehandswill return to their resetpositions.

    Howtoset thedate: Pull outthecrown to thefirstclick position. Turn thecrown to leftfordatesetting. *Donot set the date between 8:00 P.M.and2:00 A.M.as this will cause amalfunction.

    Push thecrown back into thenormal position.

    Towindupthemainspring manually: Rotatethecrown clockwiseatnormal position. Fullywounded upbyturning thecrown minimum 55 times.Itwill startto movenaturallyshaking slightly.

    Towindupwith winding machine: Rotaryspeed 30 rpm. Operating time 60 minutes.
