Principal Interaction with HoR-Women student inmates

An interaction with students was deliberated by Principal Madam along with Heads of

Departments.

Effective usage of Resources- facilities and time management, Careful involvement in

social media and handling of personal belongings and valuables, Changes in Mess

Menu, Do's and don'ts for external food orders , Rules for Attendance and leave,

Introduction of the Yearwise Deputy wardens, Monthly review meeting and Weekly food

quality checking by senior faculty and HoD team were the line of pointers in today's

discussion.

Principal Madam encouraged the students to share the Joy of harmonious living at

‘Home away from Home ‘- HoR - W, SKCET!!!

INAUGURATION OF CISCO-CCNA COURSE

CISCO- CCNA course was inaugurated by our Principal Madam along with

Dr.S.Balakrishnan, HoD CSBS/ CISCO - Course Coordinator and Dr. Ragavi HoD,

S&H at MCA Seminar hall. This Cisco certification is a credible validation for the

students to gain core Networking knowledge and placements.

STUDENT ACCOLADE –BEST CODER AWARD - IT

Odessa Hackathon, 12 hours Coding Event was

conducted for the 2020 Batch CSE/IT students at

Bannari Amman Institute of Technology in which

Bharath.S of the Department of IT has received the

Best Coder Award.

The Department of EEE kick started the year’s association activities by a grand Inauguration

ceremony today. Dr.Selvaraj Keasavan, Technical Architect, Accenture was the chief guest of

the event and he delivered a lecture on IoT Analytics in Electrical Automation. He also

distributed prize to the students for their Academic Excellence. The Office Bearers of the

Association was introduced and incepted for the academic year 2019-2020.

OUTSIDE CLASSROOM LEARNING - CIVIL

Third year Civil Engineering students visited M/s. Sastha Machine Tools Factory

Building construction site at Thudiyalur, Coimbatore as a part of Outside Classroom

Learning Experience(OCLE) for the subject Design of Steel Structures.

Dr.R.Elangovan and Mr.Prabhath Ranjan Kumar accompanied the students.

DEMO ON SIMULATION SOFTWARE -MECH

The faculty members of the Mechanical Department and the PG students attended a demo

session on Pro-Simulator – a simulation software for entire power plant system by

Mr. V. Raman, Director and CEO of SimInfosystems.

Department meeting was convened by Dr. T. A. Selvan, Head of the Department with all the

faculty members. The deliberation was on the action plan for the current academic year,

NAAC Documentation status, Class committee meeting, tutor ward book maintenance,

Association Inauguration and activity plan, Students feedback, VAC plan and R&D Target

status, Posting marks and attendance in parents group, Saturday classroom activity and

Status of placement training and Plan for Industry Visit.
