AIM OF THIS EVENT
The Mowanjum community, incorporating Ngarinyin,
Worrorra and Wunambal language groups, recently
acknowledged the centennial o their relationship
with the Presbyterian and later Uniting Church.
As part o this commemoration you are invited to a
seminar exploring a range o key issues or Aboriginal
people and their communities and our relationship
with them. The day will include presentations on
the Mowanjum community and its history including
an opportunity to hear personally rom Mowanjum
Elders.
We have invited key speakers on the issues which
impact on Aboriginal communities in Australia,
including the modied preamble or the constitution,
juvenile justice, education and the health andwellbeing o Aboriginal children.
A photographic display o Mowanjum, its history
and culture, will accompany the seminar.

Rev Dr Robert Hoskin D.Min, B.D (Hons), B.A, BVAD
is a retired minister o the Uniting Church, currentlyundertaking a PhD with the Australian Catholic
