It is 4 km south of the town Kilifarevo and 17 km of the town Veliko Turnovo on the international way K 9. The three-stars complex offers elegant and cosy environment all the time in the year. During your stay in the complex you can see the town Veliko Turnovo and the Kilifarevo monastery. The town Veliko Turnovo is administrative, educational and cultural center of Northern Bulgaria. It has been the capital of Bulgaria during the Second Bulgarian Empire. The Kilifarevo monastery dates as far back as 14 century. It has been a center of the spiritual life of Medeival Bulgaria.

Veliko Tarnovo is an important administrative, economic, educational and cultural centre of Northern Bulgaria. Today the population of this area is around 70,000.

monasteryThe Kilifarevo Monastery has gone down in the annals of

Bulgarian history as the "Second University of Mediaeval Bulgaria", following that of Clement of Ochrid's large School in Ochrid. It was founded between 1348 and 1350 upon the order of Tzar Ivan Alexander, 12 km south of Turnovo, for the purpose of providing shelter for the Hesychast and hermit Theodossius of Turnovo, a man of letters and an enlightener roaming the Bulgarian lands at the time. The monastery soon gathered writers, philologists, translators and calligraphers alongside with clergymen who spread Hesychasm, theologians and philosophers. Liturgical books and Byzantine chronicles were translated, volumes were compiled of the lives of Bulgarian, Serbian and Greek saints, and sermons were written against the different and numerous heresies.

chapel: the old carved iconostasis, probably the work of Tryavna masters, fashioned with great imagination, seen above all in the figures of mythical monsters and beasts, with great sculptural talent, manifesting at the same time a perfect measure for decorativeness. Kilifarevo Monastery repeatedly restored and reconstructed, has a complete, harmonious appearance, blending with the enviroment, which ranks it among the finest architectural ensembles of the Bulgarian National Revival period.

MOTEL “BOLIARI”Technical specification of Complex “Boliari”:The complex is built of a total area of 9530 sq.m. It consists

of two main buildings. The old building is built in 1960 and is renovated in 2004. Its area is 160 sq.m. It has 2 double rooms, 2 triple rooms and 1 touristic bedroom with 5 beds. The restaurant is situated on the first floor of the complex. The restaurant has a main hall and a winter garden with total 60 seats. In front of the halls there is a terrace with 120 seats. The both restaurant halls have chimneys and are very suitable for the oraganization of family feast, seminars and other cultural events. The new hotel has an area of 830 sq.m. and it was built in 2006. It has 11 double rooms, 3 triple rooms, 1 fourfold and 1 fivefold rooms. The total number of beds in the whole complex is 60.

MOTEL “BOLIARI”In 2004 in the complex was built a swimming

pool. It has an area of 270 sq.m. and capacity of the water 300 cub.m. The terrace around the swimming pool is 1000 sq.m. (pavements) with 100 chaise-longues and 120 seats. The summer bar is equipped with 4 refrigerators, 4 machines for beer and soft drinks and 2 coffee-machines.

MOTEL “BOLIARI”The complex has a reservoir for drinking

water with capacity of 30 cub.m. and a pump for river water (15 cub.m. per hour). There were built parking, asphalt way with total area of 2 decars and a tennis court of 300 sq.m. In the complex there are a barbecue with oven and a cage for animals.

cauldron – 100 cub.m. and 1 cauldron – 56 cub.m. Both cauldrons work with solid fuel.

There were built 4 solar collectors. There is 500 l boiler, furnished with electric

power, electric collectors, cauldron water. The complex is furnished with satelite

television with 4 channels, telephone and Internet.
