Actions and Behaviors That Lead to Loving Your Workplace Through RESPECT
• R - Recognize (provide appreciation for positive behaviors and actions)• E - Empathize (put yourself in the shoes of others to understand their situation/point of
view)• S - Share (share honest and truthful advice (feedback and coaching), support and share
ideas in a safe and constructive manner)• P- Purpose (Have a reason for doing what you are doing - why are you doing what you
are doing? Why are you there? Why are all of us here - here on this work planet?)• E- Ethical (Establishing and living by a set of standards of practice and discipline that is
consistent and in line with expectations of the industry and business in general).• C- Co-Create (Develop programs, systems, products, etc. by hearing and understanding
the ideas of others and creating something that is larger than any one individual could create on their own. Co-creation creates ownership of an idea that creates greater “buy-in,” shared understanding, and commitment to the final end “product.” Co-creation can happen through a multitude of interventions. See article on Whole System Transformation - and the BPI process for Co-Creation.
• T- Trust (Doing what you say you are going to do. Following up on promises and commitments and being accountable for your actions)What Causes a Most Loved Workplace?
