Sub: Filling up the posts of Additional Director General (Programme) on deputationbasis in Prasar Bharati.

Sir,Prasar Bharati intends to fill up 03 posts of Additional Director General(Programme) one each at Mumbai, Guwahati and Bengaluru, in PB-4 Rs.37400-67000+ Grade Pay of Rs. 10,000/- (Pre-revised) on deputationbasis. Applications are invited from eligible officers working in theMinistries/Departments of the Central Government and AutonomousOrganizations/Pubic Sector Undertakings fulfilling the following eligibilitycriteria as on 30.06.2017:-

(i) Eligibility:-

Officers working under Central GovernmenUstate GovernmenUPublic SectorUndertaking/Autonomous bodies holding analogous post on regular basis inthe parent Cadre/Department; OR

having three years of regular service in PB-4 Rs. 37,400-67,000 + Grade payof Rs. 8,700/- (Pre-revised) OR

with eight years combined regular service in PB-4 (Rs. 37,400-67,000/-) +GP of Rs. 8,700/- (Pre-revised) and PB-3 (Rs. 15,600-39,100/-) + GP of Rs.7,600/- (Pre-revised) in the parent Cadre/Department; and

possessing Ten (10) years experience in a supervisory capacity in the field ofeducation, culture, television, radio, film, Programme Production or publicityhaving visual or audio impact, including five (5) years of administrative andorganizational experience.

Note: Officer serving under Central Staffing Scheme may also apply subject toNOC from DoP&T

(iii) Age:- The applicants should not have crossed the age of 56 years as on theclosing date of receipt of application.

3. The terms & conditions and pay & allowances of the officers selected forappointment on deputation basis will be governed as per the provisions contained inGovernment of India, DoP&T OM No.6/08/2009-Estt(Pay.ll) dated 17.06.2010, asamended from time to time. The initial perid of deputation shall be for a period of 03(Three) years and can be extended as per requirement.

4. While forwarding the applications in the prescribed format (Annexure) inrespect of eligible officers who are interested and can be spared in the event of theirselection, the following documents may also be sent alongwith the application:

(i) Application in the prescribed pro-forma (Annexure).(ii) Certified copies of up-to-date and complete Annual Confidential

Report (APAR/CR Dossier) of last five years.(iii) Integrity Certificate.(iv) Vigilance clearance including certification that no disciplinary

proceedings Criminal proceedings are either pending orcontemplated against the applicant.

(v) List of minor/major penalty, if any, imposed on the applicant duringlast 10 years.

5. The period of deputation inlcuding period of deputation in another ex-cadrepost held immediatley preceding this appointment in the same or some otherOrganization or Department of Central Government shall ordinarily be for a period ofthree years.

6.
