Easy Mosaic Project #01 Heart 1. Gather your materials. You can find all these supplies at my shop listed above. • 1 wooden heart about 4.5 inches tall, • Mosaic glass nips for the edges about 1/2 - 1 ounce, • Triangle shaped nips for the center about 1/2 - 1 ounce • China Plate accent pieces. • Mosaic Glue • Grout Kit Tip: The colors here are a suggestion. Pick the accent piece first and then choose glass nips to go with the accent. 2. If using transparent glass, cover surface with a light coat of white acrylic paint allow to dry. Use your Mosaic glue and put a light coat of glue to seal the wood over project surface allow to dry. 3. Glue the Nips of your choice around the heart edge. Be careful to keep the pieces even with the wooden edge. You might want to alternate two colors. 4. Decide where your accent piece looks best and glue in place. 5. Using the Triangle Nips fill in the background. Could use more than 1 color 6. Allow to dry for 48 hours before grouting. Follow the instructions on the grout package. This project takes about 2 hours.
