The Department The EMEA Structured Finance Group is segregated into seven main areas: 1. ABS - Asset Backed Securities 2. ABCP - Asset Backed Commercial Paper 3. Structured  Credit - Collateralised Loan and Debt Obligations (CLOs/CDOs), Repackaged bonds 4. MBS - (Residential) Mortgage Backed Securities 5. CMBS - Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities & Property Related Operating Deals 6. Covered Bonds The Role * Contributing to our analysis of specific structured finance transactions * Assessing innovative securitisation structures across all major European markets with a special focus on small business loan securitizations * Carrying out quantitative research in order to develop new and to refine existing methodologies/rating approaches * Supporting senior analysts in operational reviews of issuers, and interaction with market participants at all levels * Assisting team members on and providing solutions to modeling issues * Close cooperation with external constituents such as investment banks, debt issuers and investors in order to analyse and monitor different types of financial instruments. Qualifications * University graduate with an excellent quantitative background specialised either in finance, mathematics, engineering or statistics (Master degree preferable) Languages * Fluent English; competence in other European languages would be an asset. Experience * Intuitive understanding of credit risk modeling * Previous experience at a financial institution and/ or knowledge of the capital markets as well as financial/credit derivatives will be taken into consideration.
